Laura, you leave most people speachless with your incredible, amazing, awesome designs. I really love your work! Thanks for your dedication and creativity!
It’s taken me 3 days to watch your entire UA-cam content. You are my FAVORITE face painter, your work is amazing and your content is so unique but useful, also I had a laugh with your old pictures of your face painting beginnings. ❤️
You are literally my absolute favorite artist! I have been face painting now for 5 years and I am so thankful to have found your channel. Your positivity, your generosity with your expertise and guidance is second to none. Your work is the best I have seen and I truly aspire to be at your level. You are amazing and I look forward to watching and learning from you for a long time to come.
They truly are. What is often less focused on is the love the parents have in their eyes as they look at their kids in the mirror. be on the watch for that! It is priceless as well.
This is insanely good looking and pretty simple and straight forward. Other tiger paints I've watched are super detailed with a lot of steps, but this is by far my favorite. Definitely gonna practice for my daughter's tiger costume. Thanks for the tutorial!!!
I love your line work and colour blending. I wanted to ask about the starblend powders as im used to wet paint. What colours would you recommend to start and your black seems to do so many strokes. Would love some advice on products if you're willing? Thank you for a very inspiring video
Heyy! i'm a 12 year old girl who wants to start face painting. Your work is amazing! You are my favorite facepainter EVER! where did you get your brushes? i just cant find good brushes! i hope you can give me some tips for good supplies! :)
Wow! You make it look so flawless and your lines are perfect! What is the name of that powder you're using? I'm going to invest more in face-painting supplies. I can't wait to make my own one stroke cakes like yours! You are the master!!!!
Hello! Can you please tell me what this technique is and the material that looks like powder at the beginning of the video? Is it possible to paint over the orange and white background of the tiger with regular paint or will it take a long time to dry?
hello, I have been enjoying many videos of your channel to learn more and better. thanks for the explanations! Also, in this video, are both colors powders (white and orange) or is just the white? thanks :)
Hi there! Beautiful design - you make it look so easy. May I ask what face paint you used for this and what you used to paint it on? It looks like a lollipop LOL and I can't figure out what to search to get that! Thanks in advance!
Let me just add for anyone else asking. These are Qosmedix or that's the closest I have found. Been painting for years and I think you just changed my life.
Hi Laura you are amazing and talented artist. I have one question if I may ask. The white base is it a powder or the regular one? If it's a powder where can I get it what brand? Sorry these are more than 1. Thanks
@@fairyfox I know this video is from several years ago, but what are those applicators called? Also, when i search Starblend powder, it just brings up cakes. Is it a loose powder? I think it works amazingly here. thanks again! :)
I have just discovered you, and I love your work! I am at the very, very VERY beginning of my face paint journey, so please forgive if this is a terribly naive question...what kind of paint are you using for the black? Thank you!
Hi- I realize it had been a minute. The paint is starblends by neuron powder. The black is a full load and Wolfe- it takes practice and a good brush- but you can get a lot done.
I have a love/hate relationship with them. They make a fine powdery dust in your kit that can be hard to control. They go on great on some kids and not on others- I could go on- but when they shine- they are amazing. SO fast- great in the heat. I like black/white/red/orange. If the kid is sweaty or on adults it can sometimes look redish too. Yellow and Pink are nice, but a little pale. Green covers well, but I dont care for the color. I do not recommend blue or purple. grey is fine. In my everyday kit I only keep white- but use it everytime. Biggest adjustment is that it is Matte- unlike all water based that have a bit of a shine. I like to use them when they will have paint overtop- like here on the tiger.
Wow the colors were all vibrant. I don't use starblends for full faces but you make it look amazing. Also the thick line work with that black looks perfect. thanks for sharing. 😊
@@fairyfox so what brush is that? Where I can buy one. I need to buy good brushes, because I don't get perfect lines. I need to practice my loading too I think.
Thank you very much! I have my first job as a minor as a face painter and I’m still not great, so I use this channel to learn some very nice things! Thank you for posting so much!
NO! well, yes, sometimes! Every product has advantages and disadvantages. I use starblends around the eyes and as a base for my unicorns, but it does not look as bold as a regular white. Always nice to see what works best for you though!
@@fairyfox (sorry for late response) We didn't have time to get makeup and draw on my face but I dressed up as a safari guide so I guess it worked out in the end.

Is that face paint? Love love love this!
Yes, It is a starblends powder. Not as great as regular paint, but if it is hot and sweaty it does great to have powders!
Soooo Amazing!!!!
That's just amazing!
hello, I have been enjoying many videos of your channel to learn more and better.

Also, in this video, are both colors powders (white and orange) or is just the white? thanks :)
I usually do just white powder- but I think in this video both are powders. When it is really hot- powders can be so helpful.
De q material es ese aplicado q usas primero para el color blanco??? Es esponja???
Hi there! Beautiful design - you make it look so easy. May I ask what face paint you used for this and what you used to paint it on? It looks like a lollipop LOL and I can't figure out what to search to get that! Thanks in advance!
Yes, it is actually called a lollipop sponge. I am using face paint powder. (mehron starblends)

Amazing thanks
😍😍😍❤❤❤
Hi Laura you are amazing and talented artist. I have one question if I may ask. The white base is it a powder or the regular one? If it's a powder where can I get it what brand? Sorry these are more than 1. Thanks
It is a Mehron starblends white powder, most online retailers carry it- just make sure you pick up some applicators too! Using powders is awesome!
@@fairyfox I know this video is from several years ago, but what are those applicators called? Also, when i search Starblend powder, it just brings up cakes. Is it a loose powder? I think it works amazingly here. thanks again!

@@anidavidian3714 the easiest applicator to use and find for powder application is called a lollipop sponge. No problem!!

Wolfe black- we all love it in the industry.
What are your favorite Starblends? I only have white, black and red in my kit...
Hey Ebony, those are the best 3- I like orange and yellow too. Pink is okay. Check out my comment to Mika Pang for a color by color feeling.
SO COOL
Nice strokes
Thanks
So cool! Just one thing - you forgot the white line on the other nostril. Otherwise, great!

do you only use starblend make up ? Do you still use it in dry condition?
Beautiful! Thanks so much!

what are the brushes your using in the beginning to do the white and orange ?
A power base can be applied with a smoothie blender.
I only have white and black starblends , seems like I should get more, what colors do you recommend beside orange?

Is starblend by Mehron? Where’s a good spot to get the lollipop blenders? Thanks! 💕
Yes, Mehron- any of the online shops that sell paint should have the lollipop blenders too.
Thank you!
Hi!! What type of sponge do you use when applying the white and orange?
Hi Cecilia, it is a lollipop sponge or smoothie blender.
Fairy Fox Design Thank you so much. I really enjoy watching your videos and learning from you.
What applicators do you use for putting in the large colors like the white and orange?
It is a lollipop smoothie blender.

On the starblends or on the eyelids? Just a lollipop blender, and the other is a mark reid chisel brush (I love that one)

How long have you been face painting?
Almost 10 years professionally.
Shast brush are you using for stripes?
It is a comfort series loew cornell brush, sadly they were discontinued!
