I’m an esthetician I take care of people so much I’m forgetting how good a 30-45 min facial is. It’s always good to learn different techniques and philosophies from other esthetician’s too. I NEED A FACIAL FROM HER.
It was so great to see Renee! It had been a few years and her facials are still wonderful! She’s so educational! I hope you learned a lot! Remember, do what’s right for your skin.
I want to know Reneé's skin care routine, what she does to her face (the specials) ,diet and life style!! Cause look at her! Even celebrities dont look like that in their 40s and 50s.

I didn't know that there are 9 different skin types! Wow! I like how thorough she is. She asked very good questions and explained every step she was doing. I now wonder if the biofacial is better than the hydrafacial? But she seems really well informed. I'd love it if you brought her back on your channel.
I love her products! I'm a type 3 skin and have been using her line consistently for almost four years now. My skin has improved dramatically, and yes I still have some deeper issues that skincare can't fix quickly, but I don't have the money to get consistent facials or treatments for deeper cleaning. I do, however, thoroughly enjoy her masks for any immediate concerns as well as her serums. I'd love to see you use/review some of her products, especially her Vitamin C and retinol products!
My heart broke when you say she doesn’t take new clients anymore 😭 She is so good I want to give her all my money! I’ve never seen an esthetician asking such thorough questions about the client’s skin.
I always have a list with people to check other things too. Food/lifestyle/stress. But here in the neterlands it’s a little different, we also have an stage between an esthetician and dermatologist called: huidtherapeut. Here you can do more than an esthetician. I studied estitishian but now I am doing the other studie. But a lot of estitishian do not ask questions :(
Did Renee become an aesthetician when she was 4 years old? Cause I can’t believe she’s been doing this for 30 years!!!! Loved your sharing this. Isn’t great to see examples of great facials, so people have a reference point. There are a LOT of really poor facials out there, but also great ones. You just have to do your research to find the great ones. Thanks, Susan - and Renee!
Loved Renée's treatment... especially the knowledge she possesses in regards to skin care! Relaxing and informative at the same time ❤ And masks are everything! ❤
I love her philosophy (nine skin types sounds about the right number!) and her products seem great. I really like her bedside manner, too, so to speak! Plus, she seems like, really... cool? Seriously😁 couldn't help but notice her impressively defined arms and her adorable hair and chill vibe and yeah, she's cool. The only thing I didn't love was the ultrasound with HEAT. I cannot handle anything that might cause inflammation at ALL, and with the melasma... yeah, I was a lil uncomfy. Great to see you trying new stuff, Susan! ❤
They cover pretty much every skin type I've observed personally, plus aren't reductivist like the oily-combo-dry typing system. I'm a fan of classification, but not oversimpflification! It's just a good system, imho :)
I loved how knowledgeable she is! She makes me feel so much better about my small doubts in the skincare industry/profession. Took quiz during the video..skin type 7👍🏾💯
This published as I was giving myself a facial at home! Perfect timing 😅 oh man that Renee facial looks AMAZING! I’d love to see her on the channel again!
This is my second time watching this video, and I've realized how much I love the background music and the sound of Renee mixing the mask ingredients 💖
Yes!!! I’ve been waiting for this video ever since I saw you on her Instagram!! I love her products! Their FaceTime skin consultation was amazing and really has made a difference with my skin.
Liah Yoo said in her video with Susan that she's ditched cleansing her face in the morning while Renée says cleansing is the most important step. Idk what to do now lol. 🤷
do what feels best to you. I personally don't cleanse my face in the morning unless I feel like the products from night before couldn't be washed away with water
To be honest, I’m in agreement with Renee. I really believe you should gently cleanse in the morning. You’re waking up with the night’s leftover product on your skin, along with dead skin cells, drool, sweat, eye sleep, dirt from the air landing on your skin as well as your bedding. Getting that all cleansed off allows for a clean slate for products to absorb and to helps skin from getting congested. I won’t start my day without a cleanse. 😉
Liah said she is still removing excess sebum with a hydrating toner in the morning. The reason Renée says it's the most important step of your routine is chemical sunscreen is activated by the contact of your skin (at least that's what I've understood, but you can read her blog about it). Therefore, a layer of oil would prohibit sunscreen from working. However, removing excess sebum and oil with a toner would probably do the trick. I personally have seen a major improvement in my skin since I've stopped washing it in the morning.
Renee’ is someone I would love to get a facial from. She explains everything that’s understandable. Would love to know her routine. She looks amazing!!! Use her again if you can with someone of mature skin.
I had heard about Renee a few weeks ago, it wasn't until I saw this video that I was convinced she is really good. I was hesitating to try out her products but now is a must-try. Thanks, Susan! As always, teaching us new things. I love you and your channel.
It will be worth it! I have been a loyal customer for a few years. Recently, I ran out of a product and waited a couple weeks before reordering. What a big mistake! I forgot how many blemishes occur when I don't use the products.
I loved this !! Your skin looks amazing !!! 💜💕 I would love to see more of Renne on the channel ! She seems very knowledgeable and is clearly very informed cur can relate it in a simple understandable way xxx
she's probably my favourite celebrity esthetician I've seen- very knowledgable, great bedside manner, and is able to explain a lot of skincare science very effectively. Not the usual "this stuff is amazing" "your skin will glow" ones I've seen a lot from these videos lol (no shade)
I've never tried her products but she seemed so chill that I couldn't stop myself from looking at her site. Love that the company is completely cruelty free and there are a lot of vegan products. And they even suggest similar vegan swaps from their line if something you're interested in isn't vegan. Guess I'll have to start saving up 😥
It’s really interesting listening to this and hearing some of the underlying messages. Like “watching for redness” I wish we had more aestheticians who focused on dark skin, because a lot of darker skinned people don’t get visibly red
you have beautiful skin, I am in early 50's, never really concerned about skin care. Recently I have noticed the glow is gone, firmness, loss of elasticity is gone, I don't really have wrinkles, looks very dull and no firmness. I am going to try the Renee line, I have heard great reviews from many about this line. thank you for doing this video.
This is an unusual facial with all the brushes and that, a normal facial won't have this many steps either. But they are fab I'm not saying this to discourage you, just so you know better what to expect.
Oh my god I would do anything to get this facial right now..... I cant find a facialist who is a 1/4 as good as Renee. I wish I could go to her after having unresolved acne for 10 years now.

I mean, I’m sure it’s the same exact thing, right? Lol! 🤔 💜

Thanks Susan and Renee.
Can you actually recommend a laser treatment or any treatment that is targeted for oily skin that can actually minimize the oiliness overtime? I badly need your recommendation.
Is it weird that I judge how good and esthetician is and how good the product is by looking at their hands? If they’re hands and soft, wrinkle free and young looking, then whatever they’re using works.
Susan! Thank you for this opportunity to be featured on your channel! Your skin is beautiful!!!!

all of the riverdale girls use her products so I was really intrigued
I like how she did a full assessment at the beginning!
Can you get Carly to get a facial from Renee? I have acne prone skin and I’m also in my 20s. I would love to see how Renee would treat carlys skin!!!!

Why is 9 the right number?
