- The popularity of the Harmonie led to arrangements of works including Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 for this ensemble. This symphony was premiered on the same program as Wellington’s Victory, or, the Battle of Vitoria, representing France and Great Britain using two very well-known tunes: “Rule Britannia” and “Marlborough has left for the War” (now known as “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow”), respectively.
