Once you regularly play the ukulele for a while, you build up a callas on your fingertips, and you get a better endurance for stretching out your hand in weird positions. It should come naturally after a bit of time. ^w^

I've been learning House of Gold. I got a ukulele for Christmas too and it'll be the first song I've learned. The strumming is the only thing that is taking me the most time to catch onto.
If you have difficulty playing the E chord. Tyler himself plays the alternative version where you bar the 4th fret and put your 4th/5th finger on the A string on the 7th fret. It works better for me, and if any of you want to try that too that go for it!
I'm having an extremely hard time going to f#m to E, with the tempo. F#M is easy, but i have to stop and position my fingers for E, and that takes like 5 seconds. Any tips?😉
I had that problem at first too. I'd say barre the E chord. It's what I do. Put your index finger on the second fret of the last string and barre the other three strings with your middle finger on the fourth fret. It may sound strained at first but if you play quick enough and press down kind of hard, it's barely audible. Its really easy to switch from F#m chord to E chord that way. I hope I helped!!

Fausto Moh an alternative is to barre the fourth fret and put your pinky on the first string 7th fret. It still sounds nice and is a lot easier :)
