Porsche 944t driver is taking terrible lines...and for some reason can't figure out the racing line. Cayman driver (because of the proper line) can keep up and perhaps pass if it weren't for slow traffic in the way
Not true. The Boxster caught up to him after a mistake and was making a pass on the 951 until a maroon 911 was in his way. The Boxster almost ran into the 951 a couple of times.
Good times when a 944 and a 964/993 was still fast for a Porsche, with a good driver. Now a stock base 992 with an ordinary driver who can't hit a apex will drive circles around these cars, sucks

Well, it should be obvious that the Boxster driver lacks the same driving skills as those of the 944 driver. I'd like to see the same driver drive both cars on the same track.

I had an '89 Turbo. An amateur will have a tough time beating a trans-axle car as they grip and grip and grip. High polar moment of inertia and all that.
944 handling puts most modern cars to shame. The 944 is mega underrated.

totally
944 has very high limit (as most Porsches do)
but 944 gives the driver a tremendous amount of feedback.

Turbo power

If you can’t drive a car faster then the others in a corner then it’s just a ordinary car . I think off a chassis being the sole of a car.
