@@vinny1537 Not really you dumb fuck. It feels like a completely different game. Some good some bad. Like I said, if you haven't noticed any differences you haven't played. Graphics may look similar, but that's the least of my worries. It is no where near the exact same game this year like it has been in the past, unless you're expecting a different sport.

This game definitely does not feel faster. In fact, it seems slower. Also, the passing is nothing like previous NHL games: Too many easily cut passes, almost makes me not want to pass it all, and the deking did not improve. I hope they make some serious changes before release
Online VS is definitely faster than 19. Personally I'm a fan. Hope they keep it. Found chel a bit poor though

I just went and tested it. I did manage to score with it but it's SIGNIFICANTLY less effective. Normal deking is a much better option.

@@alexissawyer3277 did you even watch the video???? 2:37 same glitch goal thats been in the game since NHL 13. Come in left going to the right with a righty shoot top left, come in right side going left with a lefty shoot top right. Goes in 9 out of 10 times and clearly still is a problem despite EA's claim of "updated goalie animations" & "updated goalie a.i" (things they've claimed for 5 years in a row now). 6:03 same bs cheesy low rebound goal that EA claims had been fixed this year, and on a fucking weak slow backhander no less. Goalies still come out to the top of the crease then to the opposite post instead of just going post to post for one timers. Speaking of one timers, from what I've seen of this beta they work wayyyy too often just like NHL 12's cross crease one timers did. Those "seamless puck pickups" (another change to the game EA has claimed to have happened multiple years in a row now) clearly are also bs multiple times in this gameplay where the puck pickups are just as wonky as NHL 19's were. Same thing with shot animations, multiple times in this gameplay players get stuck in these shot animations that make them not shoot right away instead skating there in place stuck in the animation before getting the shot off instead of doing it seamlessly like EA claims. Players still do the wonkiest shot animations too, also times in this gameplay where a player randomly takes an odd angle shot or backhander instead of clapping it on their forehand. And then last but not least that ridiculously stupid forehand backhand on breakaways going in 95% of the time from NHL 13 is back too. Game is doo doo

@@PewterCityGymLeaderBrock Goalie movement speeds are way too slow in the game. If they would increase the speed they can move from post to post then most of those one timers could be saved. They definitely need to fix that. One timer's are definitely going to be a way to score especially with the Ovechkin signature in there. This game is going to be only about that it seems. They've added some new editions but still haven't really fixed much .

At 9:23 I wish the goalie wasn’t on the goal line and instead pushed out to the front of the post. Small detail but I feel like it could provide a more realistic look.

Before people complain about shots or goalies not showing the new animations all the time, ea said that this beta was from 8 weeks ago and that they improved shooting, transitions and goaltending a lot since then
I.e "people are catching on to the fact this is NHL 15 for the 5th consecutive year so we gotta lie and say this beta is a build from 3 months ago to try and fool people into preording the $365 super duper ultra addition filled with HUT packs cause we're a trash company"
Shooting and skating is awesome. Best I’ve ever seen in an Hockey game. This is by far the best @easports has ever done. Don’t change a THING!!!!!
Wish they'd get the player movement ,passing,skating down .They still look awkward in motion especially that behind the back awkward looking pass.Still no real setups just up and down ice all sporadic.I still want smooth skating ,turning,stopping,and takeoff.
After about 5 games, in my opinion, the shooting is terrible. The animations themselves look weird in game, while the shooting feels sluggish and the shots are very inaccurate

Played one game yesterday and got 2 five hole goals even though I didn't try it😂
The only thing I I haven’t liked so far is when I’m defending a 1-1 my guy is slow backwards which is fine, but I can’t transition to skating forward even when I let go of LT. I still skate backward

Prod. MAJESTIC that’s true but it’s annoying to go to settings in every game. There’s no general permanent settings I don’t think. But in the real game I can do that
It was hard to see the animations since you had the camera view so high. How do I get the beta
Look guys, EA isn't as bad as we all think. It takes time to update all the rosters, to add all the signature shots, goalie animations, I mean that alone takes months to do. It ain't like a couple days. It takes time. They did a better job this year and I noticed a difference which is honestly good start. EA also got to revamp the graphics and overhaul the faces and players, teams, jerseys. All that stuff takes a hell of time. So by the end EA can launch a sports game every year, it is way less time to get in new features, adding new additions to be a pro may not happen but hopefully will next year as this is a new decade of sports games. Have some hope people.

It's like an arcade game with the scoreboard at the bottom. I liked the NBC presentation this is just unbelieveable. The fans still look like the yeti its hilarious and teams still do NOT have their goal songs. It is literally the same game just with different animations and commentators. When are they going to listen to the fan base? Horrible. 🤦♂️
I'll take better gameplay over better crowds and authentic goal songs any day.

The gameplay is actually horrendous and a massive flop. The skill gap, not that there was much of one in 19, has been reduced to bosons.
@@hollytempest1327 Getting goal songs takes money. It's unfortunate that I can't choose Chelsea Dagger for our club's goal song, but that money can also be put to other uses that benefit the game more overall.

Im stuck with NHL 14, and no WIFI so can't play online :( I'm glad to have something though, but playing against bots has gotten repetitive, and I wish I could play online. Its better then nothing though.

Hello, I would like to draw your attention to why you are not making cyberlitz players, I really wanted the players to have their faces, especially the NHL legends. And you also want to see three stars on the ice after the match, more animations into the game. Please make these innovations.

I just bought this game for PS4 and my skaters literally ONLY SKATE BACKWARDS. I turned off "Auto Back Skate" and I'm using the Skilled controller setting. The only way I can get the skaters to skate forward is to change the settings to NHL 94 controls. Anyone have any ideas? Thx for any help. It is SOOOO frustrating.
