i do Believe your the mostt informative channel when it comes to the fine details and important stuff everyone overlooks far as audio goes.. man I love your content bro keep it up
You're referring to restoring force. Basically; Xmech is the limit of mechanical travel Xmax is the limit of magnetic travel Exceeding Xmax = 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 Exceeding Xmech = 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (various manufacturers define and measure Xmax differently) Dig the channel, good work
Soooo informative, Super Intelligent and I love the interaction with the wifey... wonderful to see two people in love ❤. Keep up the good work. God bless you and yours brotha.
Love the informative videos and positive vibes! MBE always knows how to make me laugh and thirst for my car audio knowledge! Keep up the hard work MBE!
Brother , wow wow wow ! You just taught me something i had no idea of and your video just saved me stress and money on buying wrong amps. I understood exactly what you were saying. Thank you so much for this. This knowledge now has just helped me plan on getting better amps in future as i have been researching more and came across your video. Thank you and keep the good work. Peace , all the way from South Africa, Johannesburg
I believe you meant 33hrz is oscillating 33x a second. Because we can't hear 33000hrz Still got great information appreciate you showing us your hard work. I feel like studying amplifiers for a bit would be very beneficial to your full understanding and content. Barevids on UA-cam would be the best place to start. If you look through his channel he has a few videos explaining the inner workings of amplifier in context that's understandable
What ever happened to Manufacturers publishing their amplifiers Damping Factor. I remember my Opti 500 had a dampening factor of 500 and then others amps had 150 or less.
linear xmax is typically measured one way, mechanical Xmax is determined by either the VC hitting the backplate or the spider flattening out at peak excursion, surrounds help some, you seem them wrinkle up when you have a really high mechanical xmax
You should explain the TS Parameter "BL" & how the BL motor force "coil in" & "coil out" effects a subwoofer's performance. No one ever talks about coil in & coil out when talking about BL motor force.
BL is highest when the coil is stationary. Companies measure Xmax in relation to BL being @ 70% ‘Meaning when you reach let’s say 20mm of xmax, any more would result in the coil being slightly out of the Gap. The more the cone/coil moves away from the gap the way lower the BL gets.
Lol!!!! Boy you a fool!!! Had to check them voice coils out huhhh. Was it at 1 oms or 2. Or did she drop all the way down to half ohm. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯👍. Good video thanks
@@M.B.Enclosures so 95 on my taramps smart 3k 95 isnt that great? My skar evl 2 12s get loose and muddy under 35 htz with a audio control dsp no clip . Thanks
Bro...I love the interaction with the wife 😂
The more you understand what this guy is explaining the better you can understand more dynamics of the audio world. Each one teach one
Bruh you drop the most informitive vids and we can tell your having fun good work keep it up

Behind every great man is a great woman. Birmingham Alabama salutes. Say finna check the dampening factors huh? 😆

A favor haha love it
Performance levels= NEP select or CT sounds tropo 12s
Dd audio supercharged option. Basically adds control.
What is your amplifier of choice?
You should explain the TS Parameter "BL" & how the BL motor force "coil in" & "coil out" effects a subwoofer's performance. No one ever talks about coil in & coil out when talking about BL motor force.
Wish I totally understood it…
BL is highest when the coil is stationary.
Companies measure Xmax in relation to BL being @ 70%
‘Meaning when you reach let’s say 20mm of xmax, any more would result in the coil being slightly out of the Gap. The more the cone/coil moves away from the gap the way lower the BL gets.
This is a good one.
Yall fool up bubba lol great video as usual and informative as usual
Hey Bro just subscribed to your channel love your videos .
Ok, so now i definately need a legit train horn 🤣
Facts MBE
surround and the spider also work while the subwoofer is within linear X-max, nut just during mechanical max
I can’t find any of the dampening or the signal to noise specs for Rockford fosgate amps. Why is this?
So if my subwoofers have spider sag, how will that affect my performance level? What's the science behind if you have sagging spiders?
Amen bro
TALK YO ISH MBE!!!!
Haha you wild as hell! Lmmfao
TEACH!!!!
A guy I worked for called it Snap back
Lol!!!! Boy you a fool!!! Had to check them voice coils out huhhh. Was it at 1 oms or 2. Or did she drop all the way down to half ohm. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯👍. Good video thanks
Isn't it Damping factor?
Can you talk about BL?
What number is a good dampening number? On a amp to have high control of ur subs?
Greater than 200 isa starting point
@@M.B.Enclosures so 95 on my taramps smart 3k 95 isnt that great? My skar evl 2 12s get loose and muddy under 35 htz with a audio control dsp no clip . Thanks
I need a box
Can I get ur opinion on a good box tuning and amp setting for a evl15 d2 on a rp2000.1 all skar audio
30 to 36 htz is where u want ur box tuned to. For max output and most sound that u will actually hear and feel.
my sub amp has a damping factor of 1000!!! I know what you're sayin
A Favor 😂😂😂
33 cycels a second, not 330 thousand for 33 hz, I know you know
The word is damping...not dampENing.
Checking voice coil 🤣🤣🤣
You silly bro voice coils what they read tho lmfao
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
voice coils huh🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍👍
Church
Yeah your right your would go deaf overall spl record is a 183.4
