I love how much care is put into not hurting the bees. For example the blower and the brush... the upmost respect 🙏
This is so fascinating. If I ever do get to visit Japan I think I absolutely MUST try local beekeeper's honey. I used to be TERRIFIED of bees, but thanks to so many good resources on UA-cam (like this one) I now find them such amazing insect friends.
Interesting to know Traditional Japanese Beekeeping entails use of a battery-powered airblower.

As a Brazilian beekeeper trying to treat my africanized honey bees with a method more natural, I guess this is a good way. Do you have any infos about this method with africanized honey bees? Because is similar with the Perone method that we have here in South America. Good work! Keep with this videos. Cheers from Brazil.

The Apis Cerana Japonica have a different behavior. If you use smoke, they abandon the box. This is the reason for the blower.
