Looks decent. I agree I’ve done a few kits that have been absolutely beautiful and some not so good. Been spoiled since doing all grain mostly better than commercial beers but saying that I had years of kit beer making and drinking quite happily. Another great episode cheers 👍🍻

Great video, mate. It sounds like a good summer beer that’s (like all kit beers) quick and easy to brew. Interestingly, I just finished watching Little John’s review of the Brick Road Red IPA and he was very critical of the amount of kit twang in the finished product. How does this one stand up in that aspect? Cheers!
Thanks. I didn't really pick up on any noticeable levels of kit twang. Possibly masked by the amount of hops I added. The main problem and it was my fault, was the bitterness was too high with me concentrating the kit into a smaller batch size. Cheers
I never set out to brew this beer exactly as per the instructions. I explained in the video that I only do half batches of beer. Apart from the increased bitterness, which placed it more into IPA territory, there was nothing wrong with the beer as such. I swapped out the kit yeast for a better yeast. Added additional hops and also by brewing a half batch, I didn't need to pad out the malt base with additional dry or liquid malt extract. Cheers

why in hell do only half the brew, how can you tell what the brew is really like, thats why they have instructions in or on the can!!!!!
