Unfortunately, some people who claim to be callers to Islam are saying music is not haram. Allahu Musta'an

    *VIDEO TIMESTAMPS*
    1:19 Introduction
5:09 Some ignorant people claim that alcohol is not prohibited in the Qur'aan
    7:28 Alcohol is clearly prohibited
    8:50 Alcohol was prohibited gradually
9:27 Alcohol was an important part of Arab culture before Islam
10:40 The first verse in the Qur'aan to be revealed regarding the prohibition of alcohol
11:38 'Umar asked about the issue related to alcohol
13:16 Alcohol and gambling have benefits, but their harms are severe
15:40 This verse is an introduction for the rulings which are to come
16:33 The second stage was when the verse was revealed regarding not praying whilst intoxicated
    Continued in comments below

19:15 The third stage was clear and the verses were revealed prohibiting alcohol
23:04 'Umar responded to the verses
24:08 The Sahaabah got rid of the alcohol which they had
26:04 'Aisha pointed out the gradual prohibition of alcohol
33:10 Crystal clear prohibition of alcohol
36:58 The verse mentions alcohol in the context of things which are shirk, therefore alcohol must be a great sin
39:40 Allaah states it is filth then states it is from the actions of shaitan
43:02 Shaitan uses alcohol and gambling to bring animosity and hate between the believers
44:45 Alcohol stops you from prayer and prayer is a pillar of Islam
47:32 This ayah is enough to show that alcohol is haraam

49:20 A doubt that some people bring regarding the word 'filth'
51:55 Another doubt some people bring regarding a pronoun in the verse
1:01:25 Prohibition is not restricted to a single term
1:04:55 Three ways of knowing if something is prohibited
1:13:48 Another form of prohibition is when there is a severe warning on the person who does it
1:19:25 Ahadeeth regarding the curse of Allaah upon certain people
1:22:37 The meaning of the hadith which mentions cursing your parents
1:24:40 Fourth form of prohibition - the person doing it is rebuked
1:28:00 Fifth point to show prohibition - if it's waajib to do expiation then the action is haraam
1:32:23 Sixth way a prohibition can be shown - "it is not permissible" "it is not befitting", like when the Prophet (salla Allaahu 'alayhi wa salaam) was given a silk garment

    • @randomakhyoutube
      @randomakhyoutube 6 днів тому +1

1:34:40 Seventh form in which a prohibition comes - "it is not for them this" "and it is also not for them"
      1:35:58 Hadith Qudsi
1:38:55 Eighth way something can be prohibited - to base a punishment or even a capital punishment on an action
1:42:37 Ninth way in which something is made haraam
1:46:38 Tenth way - action is described as corrupt, or text shows something is the beautification of shaitan, or Allaah does not love it, or Allaah is not pleased with it, or Allaah does not purify that person who does it, or Allaah does not speak to that individual, or Allaah will not look at them on the Day of Judgement, and other than that
1:49:40 Evidences to support the ten points
1:55:15 *Anything that intoxicates the mind is haraam, whatever name you call it*
      2:00:20 Advice from the sheikh

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari:
that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying : "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful..." Sahih Al-Bukhari 5590

Sayings of scholars have a stronger impact on our Imaan and knowledge than sayings of other students of knowledge, by the Grace of Allah.

I haven't watched the entire video yet, but I do have a question. Isn't alcohol in small amounts considered Haram as long as it doesn't intoxicate you? We do have a small amount of alcohol mixed in foods that we consume today, does that border into Haram as well, as long as it doesn't intoxicate you?

If you eat somthing, if it is intoxicating in higher dosages then its not allowed. But lets say something like a baked good, obviously if you eat tons of donuts or cakes you wont get intoxicated but rather first what will happen is diabetes and death 🤣🤣So InshaAllah foods like that should be fine as long as they fit this principle of NOT intoxicating at higher amounts.

      Sunan Ibn Majah 3392
It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“Every intoxicant is haram and whatever causes intoxication in large amounts, a small amount of it is (also) haram.”
If that food has intoxicants it’s haram as well
