They should of been upfront from the start been honest with her and let her share the battle with him. Her life without him for 4 years was full of hurt and heartbreak. How can he not allow someone to answer her emails? Yet the emails kept him going through his long battle. Wake up people. Everyone who cared for him would have given this girl a gold medal and heartfelt thanks for her devotion and love. In a real life situation family would be rejoicing their love and bring them together.

Every actor was amazing. The 2 brothers were so relatable. Great casting.
The story was terribly disturbing as it went on. I felt Annie was caught in an abusive situation. Not intentionally, but over and over, Lichuan would give the idea that there was hope, then tell her move on, I don't love you. It became a pattern of his. To have someone love you like she did was a gift.

I really don't see this as a love story. Maybe because I'm older. I felt Lichuan was narcissistic in many ways. Because he was sick, he was allowed to behave badly.
