Brother Blaze: I love how you linked the inner light with the Holy Spirit. I believe that aspect of Christianity is missing among many believers. Following the holy light of Christ Jesus, Who is the True Light.

The Quaker Movement is one of the most evolved denominations among Christians, that I have encountered. George Fox was a true MYSTIC, who truly understood the words of THE HEAVENLY FATHER !! To Encounter souls of this magnitude in this corrupt world today, appears to be infeasible. I can understand the reasons as to why the Quakers had to undergo such adversities in their land of Birth. Great short documentary !! Peace & Blessings.

This is why I love Quakerism......the "original" Quakerism of George Fox!! I believe that all of us "christians" need to get back to this realm of thinking....

Please acknowledge why they were called QUAKERS-it’s because they had received the Baptism of Jesus Christ and were filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in TONGUES of Resurrection Fire.
    (Acts 2:38)
They “quaked” or “trembled” under the power of God when praying in the Holy Spirit (Tongues). This is what it means to “work out your own salvation with fear & trembling.”
    (Phil 2:12)

Quakerism is NOT Christianity! It’s new age..
I get sitting in silence… “be still and know I am God”; but in Quakerism there is no singing or praise and worship… no real pastor or teaching l; no alter call. It kinda seems a little Like universal and I’m doubtful people understand salvation, in that denomination

You should read his journal and you would know that George Fox was a true Christian. In his meetings, they would wait upon the Lord and He would come, fill the place and move in great power. I don't know if this happens today in Quaker meetings, but like so many religions that were founded many years ago, they don't have what the founders had.

There are more Evangelical Quakers in the world whose practice resembles more of a traditional Protestant service in many cases. Conservative Quakers of the Ohio Yearly Meeting are still very Christian-based in their faith and practice. I believe there are also others "branches" of Q-ism that don't fit your description very well. 🌿 🕊
