I did this math as well. I got the same answer and I’m happy someone else got it. But you are correct. Because the chance of getting a 7 with two dice is 6/36 or 1/6 and to get the chances for that you would have to do 1/6 raised to the sixth power equaling out to 1/46656. Which is a very rare thing. It's a 1 in 46,656 chance for 6 consecutive 7s from a roll of 2 fair die.
Which translates to a 0.00002% chance...........

It’s because Jerome didn’t count the first roll because it was not assigned to a specific number.
so if you did the math of dice, theres 36 combanations 2 six sidded die can give you, 6 of those combonations are 7, so, if you simplfy it its 1/6, now if you multiply it by the six people, so, 1/6^6 that is a 1/46656 chance (this is not including monoplys cards, just the dice and 6 people rolling 7 in a row)

The probability of rolling a 7 with two die once is 1 in 6 and the probability of rolling a 7 six times is 1 in 46,656. Going to Boardwalk on Chance is 1 in 16 probability. With those two combined the probability or chance of what you just witnessed is 1 in 746,496.
Actually jerome, each number on the dice has a different chance to be rolled and 7 is the most likely roll with 2 dice so of all numbers to get 6 times in a row, 7 is the most likely and you got the most likely number for it. That means you should have just powered it by 6 because since the actual number of the first roll didn't matter, all numbers would have the same chance. But they don't. You are less likely to roll 1 6 times in a row. Mostly cause you can't, I meant 2 *facepalm*

The chances of 6 sevens in a row is 1/46,656, because with 2 dice you have a 1/6 chance of rolling a seven, you put 1/6 to the power of 6, and that gets you the answer
You math would be a little different because when you are rolling with 2 dice 7 is the most common occurrence so you can't really throw out the first result.
I have played about 5 games of monopoly with my family we have never maneged to finish we would play for like an hour and got bored

Reason why Stead went bankrupt is the exact reason I don't go for hotels. I got up to 4 houses so the houses get used up faster and others won't be able to get them, and for if someone goes for a hotel, they cant sell and get houses and are now bankrupt.
Honestly, I would just make pieces of paper marked “House” and “Hotel” and use those!
