Hi Katie! I missed Tea Tuesday. It's nice to hear what was happening in your life. I'm glad you and your sister were there to advocate for your mom. Me and My mom had to advocate for my dad when he was in the hospital years ago. The hospital was ready to discharge him and he could barely move. He was working and fully moving just a day before he was admitted. But once we explained that, like with your mom, they started taking things more seriously.
Hi Katie! Wow! That is quite time update and much like a rollercoaster! Up, down, around, down, up, up, down, around and back up! Let’s hope you finish out your year up and up! I’m so happy that your Mom and Aunt both survived despite the questionable care! It sounds quite stressful for all. That walking pneumonia is definitely making its rounds. Ugh. Thanks for sharing your fun palette you bought yourself… boy, you deserve it!
Hello Katie! Sorry to hear that your Mom and Aunt were ill, but I'm glad they are recovering. My sister and I went to Shipshewana, Indiana, one time. They have an amazing Amish restaurant as well. All this yummy food and then 12 different pies to choose from! Hope you have a good weekend. 😊
Very nice palette! What a terrible time with your mom and aunt. Hospital psychosis is awful for the patient and family. Thanks for the update and share!
Hi Katie! Glad to hear your girl’s weekend trip came to the outlets in Delaware not too far from me! I really enjoyed visiting Seattle when I attended a conference for work there! 🐟
That pallet is gorgeous! Sorry to hear about your horrible experience in the hospital. I don’t think hospital administrators have increased staffing since Covid so everyone seems to be stuck waiting in the ER for hours if not days for a bed. I’m glad you were able to have some very fun vacation time.
Pretty palette. Sorry your mom got covid, crazy how it’s still going around after all these years. And your aunt as well, hope both are feeling better now.
Hi Katie! I'm glad you were able to get a palette you've been wanting for a while. I'm pretty sure communication is bad at all hospitals. I'm sorry you went through all of that with your Mom and your Aunt. I've been to the Smorgasbord that you're talking about for a family reunion one year. That store was so fun to browse. Lol I remember how big it was too. My Dad and I drove all of the older family members from Maryland up and we got temporarily separated from my great Aunt and Uncle who were just absolutely loving that store! I had to find them (they didn't have a cell phone) to drive them home. Wow that's amazingly nice that you got to get the items in the missing bag for free. I've heard that walking pneumonia has been going around, moreso in kids according to my Mom. I'm glad you got to go to Bethany Beach with your friends! That's a fun place for friend trips. I hope you got to see some of Seattle other than the conference! Thank you for the Tea Tuesday with updates. It was great to hear about your trips. 💕
You've been through quite an ordeal! My mom had covid at the start of all of it, same day my uncle died with it. They had to put her into a medically induced coma for 3 months and, like your mom, went into pt afterwards. You're a great daughter and niece to be there for them both. Thank God everyone is ok now. Your staycation sounds amazing! What turkey hill flavors did you all like the best?
Hi Katie, I feel terrible about the lack of communication the hospital ought to be giving you and your sister. My Aunt has MS and she goes into the hospital for a couple of days and the way the nurses talk to her, not only her is not right/The palette looks real pretty and your hair looks nice. Did you get it cut?

Hi Katie ❤
Hello Katie. I hope life has slowed down for you.
Hi Katie just wondering if you announced the winner of the advent calendar
