- Hello there,
Generally when we think of African threading it is a style that you hide under a scarf/headwrap or a wig because it ain't cute. In this video I share how I style mine so its actually a wearable style. I show you step by step what I do and a few tips and tricks to ensure you love your finished look. And there is a trick to it. African threading can be used as a professional and neat protective style for adults and help you retain longer hair

Thanks so much!😘
Now that im quarantined in my house im inspired to do this hairstyle plus i dont even have to worry about parting because no one is going to see it😁😁🤸🏽♀️
Ahah you are too funny 😂 but makes sense hey! No pint being all neat in quarantine 🤷🏽♀️
African threading is always the best. We literally grew up with it.
Great job and I love the addition of the afro hair piece there.
Thanks hun
Yes. It Keeps the hair healthy, help hair to grow long, and tangle free. I hope they make a come back. I used to love doing these styles for people
Finally! A grown up style with threading. Thanks.
yay!
I tried this for the 1st time and I love it. I used regular weaving thread... 4 pieces that I tied together to because I didn't want that little piece of thread to break my hair or my hair to become tangled. I didn't realize how long my hair was until I took it out and was pleasantly surprised! I am going to be African Threading from now on. Thanks for sharing. ❤️😃
pdstcro1010 Oh wow! so glad to hear that! Am so glad you found this helpful
I know this was six months ago, but just wondering how your hair has been treating you since the threading?
I love this video. Not only did you show how to do the style, but also how to make it look wearable.

Your afro ponytail is SO lovely. Would you happen to remember where you purchased? I know you are not in the US, but if you bought it online, I hope you remember where?!?!

Exciting! Please share :)
I basically leave it alone! Moisturise and seal afew times a week. satin bonnet to bed and hands out of hair lol. the smaller they are, the longer they last. Hope this helps😃.
Welcome Lucia. Keep sharing☺

You have gorgeous hair 😍 I'll have to try this. I was concerned about my roots and breakage at the parting. I have experienced this with just large plaits so I'm a little apprehensive. But I will try and see! It's just hair!
Hi NicNac...definetly give it a try and see how it turns out. You are right about breakage. One has to be careful 😍😘

I love it it's so cute 😍
thank you 🙏🏽
Great one
Thank you
Welcome :)
Beautiful finished product ❤️
I was trying to count, but could you tell me how many threaded braids you usually make when you do this style?
anywhere from 10-20
It contains paraffin and mineral oils which I really don't want on my 4C hair. these ingredients sit on the hair, blocking moisture from entering the hair until washed with a sulfate Shampoo, which can dry your hair out😊 Hope I made sense lol
love it
thanks!
So so cute!!! I’m going to do it next week !!
Khensani Rose hey, how did it turn out 👂

Really cute ❤👊
thank you
Thanks Denysha. I couldn't tell you how many because it varies each time. roughly 15 to 20😊
Thank you!!
Very cute 😍
marsha jones thanks so much 😃
Beautiful!
I'm going to use that this summer so that my hair can breath after a winter of wigs and vitamins that have encouraged great growth.
Please can you confirm if that is black wool you are using instead of thread.
It reminds me that when I was a teenager I had such long hair using Igbo threading (where the whole length of hair is covered) that one of my uncles asked me if I had Indian hair. The ancients knew what was best for our hair!
Energetica hey. great news your hair is growing. yes I use the wool instead of the actual thread. I find its gentler on both my hair and palms. Thread should work just fine as well. Do share your final look 😊. am on Facebook with the same name Pamarow Naturals
Love that idea! Wigs do wonders in winter for me but by summer I'm over it. This is perfect!
😊 welcome
Love this!!
thanks dear !
Wow so mwaaah
thanks girl!
I love your UA-cam name “Coily diaries “💕💕 it sounds so special and precious 🥰
Wow! Thanks so much 🙈 thanks for being here
Beautiful
🌺🌺🌺
I bought the spray specifically for that. Because it contains
mineral oil, I've never used it on my hair. I only use a little so I've had this spray for years. ☺
💜💕
😘🥰
Very nice
Thank you😊
Really great video. So simple. Will this work on my two?
Am really hoping it WILL🤗
Like like like !!!!!

Thank you so much for the video. I was just wondering: did you do African threading when you had really short hair? if so, how do you achieve a style with it?
Yes I did and there is a playlist on my channel!
You're so cute! I loved watching this!
Thanks so much!
Love it, I must give this a try! Where did you purchase your hair piece?
Thanks love! This particular one was an old one I bought in Africa...
I do sell one on my site that is silk linned to protect your ends. Check it out at pamarownaturals.com
