Isnt that escape is similar to joule jump and glave afterburn? They could do so much more for his ult. Compare to ardan and cath ult, his ult is crap. But his built in reflex block is a good choice
i must add that the escape wouldnt work in higher tiers. its really easily to see that hes preparing to wall jump. fortress and taka realistically would go around instantly.

There should be more heroes who say something when they get their ult.. Lance says "time for rolling" so maybe petal can say something like "ALAH AKBAH" I think that would be an amazing addition to heroes!
Without his combat roll he would be much less effective and would not be near as dangerous as he is now without this roll he can't land his abilities well so it is a big part of him even when it does not look like it matters much
if catherine tries to stun lance with merciless pursuit and lance uses gythian wall, will the stun be blocked? additionally, if an enemy ringo has launched a fireball to lance's teammate, can lance block the fireball?
His animation for his (B) ability kinda have lack of animation, the light shine from his shield should show the animation of the light fading away, seems like a lack of animation on him
They didn't really nerf skaarf this update just moving his damage into over time which was the original sin rather than poking with the spit fire over and over

Yes, only when u know how to use him. He looks hard to use, but yes fun :) His combat rolls have to be timed and positioned right. So, I'm guessing he's a high difficulty hero. I main Catherine, so he could be suitable for me.
