Every video giving same guidance but none of it is working. Sometimes voice to text works but lags a long time, than sometimes nothing. The blue microphone is there. Please help, I’m disabled & I use this feature a LOT.

iPhone 14 here. I disabled dictation because I kept hitting it by accident. Now the recording icon is there so I didn’t fix anything 🤦🏼♀️. Will still accidentally send what I’m saying lol

@@WEWCHAMPIONS my iPad stopped having voice dictation, but when this happens, I’m able to fix it only by resetting all settings. This fixes the problem, but only temporarily I have to do it like every couple of months.
I don't have enabled dictation option at all I have new 15 iPhone
Sunny-pg3ek Bro, If you are unable to find the “Enable Dictation” option, follow these steps:
* Check if your phone is running on latest iOS .
* Check your device’s region setting by going “Settings” then “General” then “Language & Region”.
* Then restart your phone see if the option appears.

None of this worked, haven’t had a microphone since last update
Change your language to English Canada under general, and then language and region that was only thing that works for me.
