Yea, the bins are great, I use them to store one crop at a time, I have 3 at the moment but will get a couple more once monies get better. My Grandparents farm had these bins and a couple of the big blue harvestar bins for cattle feed storage. Good times back then for sure. My grandpa wouldn't let us go into the bins when they were full so as not to get sucked into the corn
Oh no I wouldnt go in them when they had alot in them because if the grain wasnt dry enough it could clump and if you pulled product out it could leave voids under the surface. But when it was being emptied at some point you would have to get in and find and uncover the sweep auger because if it had to much product on it then it could sheer the pin when you tried to engage it. That would of course pull product into the center once it was working and would rotate around the bin until it was near empty then you got the big grain shovel and pushbroom.
11:15 I love those trailers for getting around forward, but as soon as you need to back it up, hate it. Next payday I plan to buy a semi and semi trailer.
The bins with the handles that actually open the top are already on the official modhub, its called the "Meridian Grain Bin Pack". they also only hold one type of thing at a time
Nice to see these bins in FS, the top trap not opening is very dumb. For even more realism you're supposed to change the unloading of your trailer to the small grain trap before dumping in the auger. Maybe next time we'll have grain bags also.
$72/84k for the silo, but also another $40k for the conveyors, so cost is slightly cheaper, but storage capacity is a decent amount higher for the lower price, but also more ground space needed for it.

@FarmerKlein yep, I too had the pleasure of cleaning out bins, 😁
I remember when my grandpa had a small built in grainery in his old barn and we had to shovel out grain into bags to take them to the local feed mill
