- Remembrance recalls the story of when she was on loan to the Great Western Railway. There, she met Duck for the first time, but he wasn’t always the cheerful and confident engine we know him as.

So it was Remembrance who gave Duck that nickname! (At least in this series.)
Hm... Quite an interesting Messerschmidt, hovering around in stationary like a helicopter. Could've sworn it was taking its time with Duck. Taunting him.
The big engines on the GWR reminded me of Herbert, Brian, and Cornwall.
Who are Herbert ,Brian and Cornwall are they steam engines ?
Barbara Moran They’re from the NWR Origins episode “The Way Of The GWR” by T1E2H3.
@@jaanshersaeed4541 yep
Great video.I’m guessing when Remembrance went to her new home at Valleyfield central that they didn’t know who had bought her at her former shed and that maybe Duck had gone to Sodor by then and he had written too her at her last shed and that she was no longer there.
Beautiful how Remembrance rescued Duck . Thank you for such a beautiful story .I can hardly wait to see the next one .I realize that producing these videos must be hard work.I liked the way you had Trevithick in the mix .I hope he can be in more stories .I know it would have to be on southern or great western railways because after being in the wreck he had to be put down .
I can imagine the other 6 N15X’s being on Valleyfield .agreemennt to buy all king Arthur’s leading to decision to give the new railway the N15X’s as
Well and they would have gotten Trevithick too had he not been fatally wrecked..Since a few of the king Arthur’s weren’t available the other engines were given free. There were only 6 of the N15X’s and because the class was so small they might have not been received unless given to the Valleyfield as a bonus for buying all but a few King Arthur’s that weren’t available to send after they had been ordered and payment plan agreed upon. My spin. Duck is one of my favorite characters The pannier tanks are cute .I have a bunch of “take along “engine figures and my sister gave me a “Duck “ when her grandson lost interest in choo choo toys.I have about 13 that I had bought.I have them all lined up on display on a shelf on the bookcase my CD player is on.The first character I ever bought was Murdoch .I’m surprised that so few people have watched your video .THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE MISSING .YOUR STORIES ARE MUCH BETTER THAN BRITT ALCOTT’S .
Definitely one of the more interesting stories I’ve looked after for you both :D. I’m quite taken by some clever sound work here, at 9:06 or so, Duck/Montague has the triumphant Spencer music to his departure, then when the perspective flips to Remembrance it cuts to no music. Very noice.
I really liked this episode, seeing remembrance interact with the small engines and duck. The only gripes I had with the episode, the plane scene, maybe if you had it coming in the distance, instead of right above them. Aside from the minor issues like type of plane and kings cross (I know you were using what was available) , I really liked the episode!
To most people train stations may look the same .since I have no idea what Paddington looked like I never knew that it was a King’s Cross image .
It can pass for Paddington .A huge canopy and choo choos there
Sounds like Duck and Remembrance are forming a relationship.
I’d ship it
@@SPG69You wouldn't dare
ngl who wouldn't
I honestly find it rather hilarious that the plane stopped just above the train for a solid minute just for Remembrance to get there.
Only in a cartoon can a Bf110 hover like a helicopter
And be called a Spitfire, it would seem
Brilliant! I like how you used that for Duck’s origin! Great work!
Coo! I never knew Duck could be so cantankerous! But there it is!
Smashing work mate! This was a pleasure to play in as the one and only Mike The Red Engine and Trevithick! :)
In part of the backstory when trevathick and his younger brother Stephenson and younger sister remembrance went to the Great Western railway in 1940s
Excellent work on this episode! 👌👍
I guess remembrance saved Montague's Life for everything from the attack of the spitfire plane as a hero and lifesaver
This was well worth the wait! I can’t wait till the next episode, but the Spitfire was originally a British Fighter Aircraft not a German. That plane in the video was a ME-111 fighter bomber of the Luftwaffe
actually it's a BF-110 night fighter, the RLM allocated 111 to Heinkel
OOPS I thought spitfires were American but I don’t know much about fighter planes but I have read about B29’;s and even met one in the 1980’s
Barbara Moran it’s all good it’s easy to get confused with planes from that period. The USAAF used Spitfires briefly but it was more well favored with the RAF! Ah yes, the B29’s are a sight to see in the skies
Glad you pointed that out as it was bugging me that a British icon being confused for a Luftwaffe plane, correct me if I'm wrong but was the spitfire the first plane to have the landing gears retract into the undercarriage/ wings.
Finally we have a new episode after so loooong.
For anyone who is interested the German aircraft shooting at duck is a messerschmitt bf-110 night fighter.
Looked like a Junkers Ju88 to me!
THIS CONTINUED! YESSSSSSSS
YES FINALLY ANOTHER EPISODE YAY!!!!!!!!!!
Dang I missed some of it but and the others did an fantastic job keep it up
4:15
Duck: *Grumpy* You ever heard of something called "manners"? |:(
When I realize that the station sign said kings cross
No London is paddington I remember I was a station pilot there ( Gordon goes foreign reference)
@@hulksterishnonsence london's EUSTON
well this episode is so gong to be great! I think duck would be surprised about a flashback. I guess. and this is where the fun begins soon.
Brilliant story duck was always my favourite, weren’t the spitfires ours?
The aircraft was a BF-110
And also yes the spits were ours
@@scalesmodellingmagic5883 correct
Montague like to be called Duck The Great Western tank engine 🚂 and befriend remembrance as a old friend
I love it when Remembrance sounds more arrogant when she tells the stories
Really great Annie did a great job as remembrance
This is where duck and remembrance first met when duck was a bit of a grouchy tank engine 🚂 sheesh 🙄
10:05 "Enemy spitfire"? Germans in WW2 didnt flown Spitfires they flown Bf 109's
Yes, true but, they probably do not know what it is called. SO used a name they did know for convenience sake. So the story does not get broken, having to explain the difference but yes 'A German version of a Spitfire', would have been acceptable as well.
Remembrance, there are two ways of doing things, the great western way, or the wrong way.
Anything with Remembrance will be a masterpiece .Did you ever get my drawings of her and a couple of other choo choos ?I sent them months ago .I just finished another picture of Remembrance today .Long live Remembrance
“An enemy spitfire” at this stage in the war the Germans hadn’t captured any spitfires yet and even when they did they only used them over Germany and the plane you show is a model of dornier do 17 ground attack aircraft
Love how duck is like why me.
Duck was talking about his older blood cousin City of Truro The gwr City class engine was remembrance's so-called heroes known about
Awww Bert’s voice is so cute
Nice voice acting Joel.
Happy independence day
I Wonder When Episode 11 Is Coming
For some reason, ducks voice in this reminds me Wheatley from portal 2 a little bit
Now that’s the Great Western Way
Gotcha! Bert!
AYEEE IM HYPE
Plane CAN'T be stationary in the air like an helicopter. biggest GOOFS i ever seen
We're aware of that now.
What were the names of the green coaches Remembrance was pulling and the names of the coaches Duck was pulling?
Not to be rood but Kings cross can be read on the signal box
I know. I wasn't able to edit that shot while it was moving. -Scott

(CLUCK!)
Duck: *Horrified* NO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! D8>
Yeah
He said NO! About 16 Times
Remembrance should have a trackmaster motorized custom made
Wow this is going to be a wow wow wow wow bow wow!!!!XD!!!
Germans never had spitfires usually if they were going to hit targets low they would leave the job to the stukas not interceptors like a bf110
Where did you get the Paddington route from if you don't mind me asking.
That isn't Paddington that's the ECML King's Cross to York route. There is actually a route that has Paddington in it, if you look on the Download Station and features part of the GWML.
@@greateasternj69animationvi65 Thanks, what is the name of the route that has Paddington and part of the GWML.
I believe I remember one episode that it said remembrance was either thomas's cousin or brother?
Nice episode, Duck is actually my favourite of the original 11
Also, quick question, where can I find the base model used for Remembrance and her siblings, if there is one?
The only base model for her that currently exists is the one that I made, and it's private. -Scott
Ah, that’s alright then. Thanks
@@TTTENWRAdventures1 not anymore there’s one on darlington works site
looks like the German hit his brake pipe
Great episode. I wonder what remembrance is hiding form duck and why she stop replying to ducks letters
I’LL BET LETTERS STOPPED COMING WHEN REMEMBRANCE MOVED TO VALLEYFIELD AND DUCK’S LETTERS DIDNT GET TO HER AND SINCE DUCK MOVED TO SODOR NEITHER ENGINE KNEW WHERE OTHER ONE WAS .AND LOCAL SHED STAFF DIDN’T HAVE WAY TO FIND OUT TO MAKE SURE THEY COULD STILL COMMUMICATE . SINCE IT WAS STATED IN ANOTHER VIDEO REMEMBRANCE WAS BOUGHT IN 1955 THAT WAS SAME YEAR THAT BR WITHDREW HER. I’M GUESSING THAT DUCK STARTED WITH SODOR RAILWAY IN EARLY 1950’S
Do you use Trainz Simulator, Trainz a new era, T:ANE, or Trainz 2019?
Trainz Simulator 2010: Engineer's Edition
Guess King George hid his bell somewhere.
Poor duck
That’s another story (17:23)
Just wandering, do you have a link for your face meshed Earl Bathurst, King George Or Spitfire The West Country Battle Of Britain Class?
City of Truro wouldn't have been working in Ww2
You know? I think I might have seen some similar faces from King George and Earl Bathurst before, but I just cannot put them.
Our friends YellowDash1998 and Toby's Tramway were responsible for the two engines' custom faces.
Plus why is trevathick green like Stevenson as we know him today. It’s the same colour hmmmm. Guess this gives us a idea what remembrance is hiding
Does anybody know what the faces from some of Duck's fellow great westerners? The only one that I know is Defiant/Ogmore Castle has Sixteen's face, but part of my mind thinks that Earl Bathurst has a face from one of the narrow gauge engines. Don't you all agree?
Earl Bathurst's faces were actually custom made by our friend YellowDash1998.
I bet he would know what Earl Bathurst's face was customized from.
Any chance you would ask him who their custom faces were made from?
What class is Rememberance? She looks like a hybrid of a lswr n15 and a southern railway N class.
Remembrance and her siblings are SR N15X locomotives.
@@TTTENWRAdventures1 Thanks. When will there be more episodes?
Dose fantastic Mr.s know about Fatthatts 2010 GWR Green Duck?
I do, but that was a reskin of one of SI3D's 2010 models, which went against their wishes. -Scott
13:44 WT# why is a Spitfire a British fighter attacking one of GWR trains that would be friendly fire
German fighter plane 109 don't know to spell its proper name. perhaps the pilot wanted to right off a GWR 57xx class tank engine and his train
If I was Montague / duck I'll be pissed off at these engines
Hello cous
While there’s not much negatives in this episode I will say Duck feels like he’s out of character even with the way he speaks to the big engines. Not to mention the plane chase just feels like a copy and paste of Max’s episode.
Which episode are you referencing, Kobe???
I know you feel that Duck was out of character when we portrayed him as grumpy and rude in the flashback, but we portrayed him that way because we felt that's how we would've been in his younger years (and with good reason to be too); the Rev. W. Awdry did the same thing with Skarloey in the volume "Very Old Engines". Characters don't always start out as they've been definitely portrayed; they often start out not knowing better, but they evolve into how we know them through their experiences.
However, you make a valid point about the plane chase scene (though we did try to give it some differences). I'll admit, coming up with something to tie the story together was difficult, and having an enemy spitfire chase Duck and his passengers was the only thing we could think of at the time. If you've got anymore suggestions to help us improve our writing, feel free to message us. - Scott
Er! That was a Me110 night fighter. Not a Spitfire!
Yes, true but, they probably do not know what it is called. SO used a name they did know for convenience sake. So the story does not get broken, having to explain the difference but yes 'A German version of a Spitfire', would have been acceptable as well.
What the germans did not have spitfires they had bf109s an the was an iorncore bomber but apart from that a good episode
10:53 I like this part and 11:05
9:48 Duck Was Wrong IT'S AN EVACUATION TRAIN!!!! DON'T/WON'T STOP JUST GO!
CAN YOU DO EPISODE 11 AS OLIVER IN THE MAIN CARATHER
No we can't, sorry...but these episodes are planned in advance. - RJ

LONDONS KINGS CROSS NOT PADDINGTON
Will we see more of remembrances siblings
Keep an eye out for the next episode, then you'll see.
Okay
Thomas The Tank Engine's NWR Adventures king forward to your next episode .I really like the N15X’s .THANK YOU FOR CREATING SUCH BEAUTIFUL CHARACTERS .You have inspired me .
Remembrance didn't ask nicely & she didn't said the magic word please
Bruh wtf this is literally a copy of engines of valour
Cann you macke eoisode 11
Already being made now.
Thomas The Tank Engine's NWR Adventures THANK YOU! I CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE YOUR NEXT STORY .I CAN IMAGINE THAT REMEMBRANCE AND THE OTHERS IN HER CLASS BEING SOLD DIRECTLY TO VALLEYFIELD AND THAT ONLY TREVETHICK NOT BEING DELIVERED BECAUSE OF THE WRECK .VALLEYFIELD GLAD TO GET THE OTHER 6 AND ALSO KING ARTHUR ENGINES AND BOUGHT MANY AND REBUILT THEM ALL IN THEIR OWN SHOPS AND EACH ENGINE GOT TO SELECT HIS /HER OWN LIVERY .ALL ENGINES FITTED WITH NEW BOILERS AND NEW MOTION.. SINCE YOU ALREADY HAVE 3 ENGINES IN KING AND CASTLE CLASS CAN THEY SHOW UP IN YOUR FUTURE VIDEOS .MAYBE YOU COULD SHOW ANOTHER CASTLE CLASS ENGINE IN YOUR SERIES .YOU COULD RECYCLE EARL OF BATHHURST AND MAYBE USE ONE OF THE YOUNGER CASTLES BORN IN LATE 40’S . I THINK INCE CASTLE WOULD MAKE A GREAT GIRL CHARACTER.AND THE YOUNGEST OF THE CLASS SWINDON .AS INCE’S YOUNGER BROTHER.
REMEMBRANCE IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER BUT I LIKE ALL THE N15X’S .HOW ABOUT ALL 6 SURVIVORS ON VALLEYFIELD .
THE TANK ENGINE VERSIONS YOU DID OF ALL 7 WERE TERRIFIC!!! .THE TREVITHICK IMAGE YOU ALREADY HAVE COULD BECOME REMEMBRANCE’S SISTER BEATTIE .( THE OTHER 4 MALE CHARACTERS ) BEATIR SOUNDS LIKE GIRL’S NAME .
Planes don't hover
Let along ww2 German ones
Do more vids
Be patient.
Ok
Hhhhhbhbhbbhhbbhhhhbhh
Remembrances is no psychic engine she doesn't read his name it it off his tender
Remembrance was acting silly .steam engines are literate ,she could read books . she knew who Bert was and could identify him because of his nameplate . i doubt that she needed to have someone read the Thomas books to her but maybe she and her crew enjoyed the book together.and she would have wanted to see the pictures .she could have read it to them.just my opinion.you may disagree ,That’s OK.
Remembrance is one of my favorite characters ..It is surprising that this video wouldn’t have gotten 10 times as many views .It is so well done .
Much better than many of the Britt Alcott stories .
AND NOT THAT THE FACT, PLANES ARENT HELICOPTERS AND NOT THEY CANT JUST STOP MID AIR... LIKE WHATS THE LOGIC IN THAT AT LEAST MAKE IT FLYING AROUND ABOVE THE TUNNEL THEN LEAVE
At 3:53
EXCUSE ME???? DID YOU SAID Paddington station?? YEA WHEN LITERALLY IN THE VIDEO THAT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE PADDINGTON INSTEAD THATS KINGS CROSS. WHAT THE HELL???? WHY?????
There was no complete Paddington route available, so we had to make due with what WAS available, and disguise King's Cross as best we could. And I'm aware now that planes can't stop mid-air; we should've researched that part. But please, if you have problems with our content, don't yell at us; just type it out in lower-case letters calmly next time, like a civilized human-being.
Thomas The Tank Engine's NWR Adventures
Oh hmm alright and sorry. And there is this route on trainz DLS as well. There is a GWR route that has paddington. I forgot whats the name for the route but not sure is it fully finished or not. But I suggest you to go and check that out.
That route's got no details to it whatsoever, just tracks. That's why we didn't use it.
I don’t care what the fans say. I hate duck, it’s always great western this great western that, it’s so annoying. Also I believe it was his fault for starting the whole diesel vs steamie rivalry by playing that trick in diesel, yet he never gets punished for that trick at all. When Thomas played tricks on the big engines he would get some sort of punishment, so why not duck.
