The department needs to be charge for not having a regular fitness test determining if someone is fit for duty. These ppl pay-check are six figures and judges are making nine figures, so there is no excuse for not having a regular physical every six months; and yes, drug testing included.

Looks like bad policing, once again, and lack of training in THE LAW, once again. I little training in the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights ‘May’ have avoided this stop entirely. Every officer involved contributed to the death of this uneducated and poorly trained gaggle of defendants. I mean, how hard is it to teach our LE Civil Rights? I learned it in 8th grade Civics class and I’m not ‘trained’ in the ‘Police Academy 6 WEEK courses. Just add a week to their training. PROBLEM SOLVED. It’s like they’re intentionally let loose on our Communities with badge and guns yet NO CLUE what THE LAWS are they were hired to enforce. What other job on this entire planet does this? Police training these days is Bass Ackwards. The U.S. CONSTITUTION is the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT part of LEs job, and nothing else, yet 99.9% of LE can’t, and DON’T have any training or interest in learning their job and our RIGHTS. Just spend 20 minutes of your own time and GOOGLE IT if you weren’t taught your job properly. It’s NOT rocket science. Carry a copy of the Constitution with you if you have a learning disability which most LE seems to be stricken with these days. Slackers, plain and simple. LEARN THE LAW, LAW ENFORCEMENT. Our Communities can’t keep paying out millions in lawsuit due to YOUR incompetence, ineptitude and malfeasance. smfh

Lack of training you said ??????????
...Yes, let's get these Cops into added training, so that they can learn not to nearly assault someone to death for absolutely no reason.
... Someone should definitely need training not to do these things ?
...Then the second part of their training would be not to lie to everyone to cover for themselves about what really happened.
...You aren't serious with your reply.

      You are absolutely wrong.
... Police Officers know our rights for certain.
....The answer to why they violate our Constitutional rights, is because Constitutional rights violations leads to literally multi millions of dollars a year for the Police Officer's States.
...And their real job is to extort people's money into their States.
...The Pigs can cite State laws, City Ordinances, and City Codes.

...Cop had approached the kid, and started asking the kid typical Pig questions.
...Cop found out fast that the kid didn't speak English, and then the Cop ordered the kid to stop, knowing the kid didn't understand what he was being told.
...Cop then kicked for us, while he had been assaulting the kid with the Pigs arriving criminal gang members.
... Prosecuter then charges the kid.

Theres many cases that show (prove) that crooked cops & their crooked actions get covered up, or excuses made, including lies by them, their fellow cops, & by their higher ups.

Well, you said what would happen if it has been a white guy accosted by police? I am a conservative. So yes, i do go to department with my comment as this is a daily thing. I dont believe its raced based like yourself. I 100% believe its done to people who appear poor and cant afford an attorney.
Whats more, you are correct that he did not do anything to be detained pursuant to Terry v Ohio. The kid is not guilty. If he had an attorney not in the good ole boy system, he would have already been released.
So why is he not released? Because the minute he has no criminal charges against him, he is eligible for state and federal lawsuits. They firmly believe they can convince him the only way to be released is to sign an agreement not to sue.
Why cant he be charged? Because that becomes malicious prosecution and the attorneys can lose thier license. In a perfect world, the procecution should look at bodycam and deemed not probable cause to contact an innocent person. And police CAN NOT CONTROL an innocent party meaning the officer (several) committed battery.
And even better Thompson v Clark just made it so much easier to sue for malicious prosecution
