For those of you who cant exchange on the node manager it means you dont have the quest. For me what it was is that I got the full drop from valtarra and it was named "Ancient Valtarra's Clairvoyance" and I had to exchange it for the "Valtarra’s Clairvoyance" at Merindora then I talked with her again and got the quest from her. Hopefully this helps everyone that got stuck like me.
Thank you all for the kind comments ! Keep in mind Valkyrie train IS NOW NERFED but there are still plenty of classes that can still do these spots efficiently. Also make sure to pick up the quest "Odore's Spirit Essence" from Merindora when you have all of your potion pieces ! If you have a hard time finding the quest press O and make sure at the bottom of that menu that all the Quest Type's are highlighted yellow.
As of today, I'm a player returning from a little over a 2 year break. I farmed the HP pot prior to pity pieces and when i saw the requirements for the MP pot, i absolutely wrote it off. Anyhow, just stopping by to say this whole ordeal used to be absolute madness prior to pity. For the HP pot, i had great RNG on Blood Wolves and Ronaros, both in under 10 hours. For Sherekhan, however, it was over 200 hours. Loot scrolls and as many item drop buffs as I could muster the entire time. And the whole time i just felt horrible, obligated to finish the farm because i had the other two pieces just ortting in my inventory. If it's not apparent, this grind is what made me quit two years ago... and honestly, even with pity pieces, idk if I can commit to doing shit like tanning a bunch of birds. Lmao.
It blows. Though once it's done you never have to do it again. For me shere dropped after 6 hours. Then wolfs I did 50% of it via weekly's and actively 50% as I got closer the motivation rose to push through. Last one I still haven't done, but will start soon doing weeklys again. There is no rush, but it is worth it if you do plan to PvP and PvE.
you need to take quest for the last part NPC name "Merindora " name of the quest is: Odres spirit Essence. you don't need it if its not your first Mana Potion
Made Ornette's life potion before the pity system and after spending over 200+ hours on it (got lucky with last item as it dropped in under 10 hours), I gave up on trying for the mana one. I spent something like 20-30 hours on trying for it, but that's nothing.
At Navarn, the pity pieces also drop from the elephants. I have use for their hides so I killed a mass of them versus the birds. For Manshuam, my experience, the drop rates are HORRIBLE. Yesterday went three hours with NO drops.
Thanks for the guide. Do you know how I was getting double pity pieces from tanning despite not having a hedgehog? I'm not sure how lifeskills work so it might be a dumb question
the moment a friend of me is new to the game is grinding for the inf potions got them fairly fast because he got carryed af from the game and me still only 3 venoms and 1 manshaum drop after 1 month grinding (not all day only maybe 2 - 3 hours a week) feels bad xD
You need high drop rate. Preferably 300%. That will increase it to 4-8/h average. Typically you can get all pities in less than 10-15 hours if you're lucky.
Do you have a video for the HP one? 😮 I've been struggling to get this since they dropped it on console. So I'm glad I now know it's based on certain mobs

@@xBaph Well that's the thing I don't have any. I've got the Penguin and Turtle that gives +1 gathering sooo maybe it's from that? I don't have a pet that gives quantity increase like hedgehog does. But I swear I was getting 2x. First time I was surprised so even asked in chat about it but I just sorta assumed it was coz I got it from Ferrica the better bird so I assumed Ferrica has a chance to give 2x idk tbh. I'm still not done with that piece coz there seems to be a massive shortage off Tanning Knives on EU I had preorders on them for like 3/4 weeks now and only got like 1 from CM and couple from board so I'm gonna be going back there and if that happens next time I'm gonna take a screenshot. I honestly didn't know back then that something like that is weird so didn't even bother taking a screenshot. As I said before I just assumed it's coz Ferrica is the better bird and gave me 2x, only now when I watched your vid it made me think. Personally I'm starting to think that data on bdolytics its just wrong. Coz I'm also 95% sure I've got a pity drop on Thsira from Bronk.
@@666222333111 Yeah its hard to tell its difficult to get precise information on this game for a lot of things. Was it from tanning the bird or just loot from killing it? Maybe you had a hedgehog and fused it together with a different pet and it has a different appearance with the skill effect of the hedgehog? Not sure if that's even possible just a thought.
btw obs RNN noise suppr is pretty good, might make editing a bit easier, also allows you to lower the background music and increase your mic volume to be even more clear without sounding like you're in a tunnel. Hope this makes content creation easier

Nice work! Do you happen to get stopped in your tracks some times? I tested it and it seems like at about 15 min in or 1300 kills It is like it would just stop and take a second or two to get back into the train.
If so hold W while holding space bar + right mouse button every once and a while it will also give you a buff to go faster and your character won’t fatigue.

Every single pity piece has a very vague description. All of them in the description of the item says “defeat monsters” at the following areas. But I’m almost positive at tshira it’s just the vine keepers, leaf keepers and the grove keepers that drop it.
As far as I know the 80 gathering drop rate of magic tools is a lie and it just locks your mastery to an invisible 600 but it could just be that 600 mastery equals 80% droprate. Magic tools are just confusing.
Dude i have been faming all these spots since the potions came out and not once have i ever gotten one of the potion pieces even with a 300% drop rate were talking months of grinding so i gave up lol i dont even have the want to grind another 25 hours each spot for pity pieces hahahaha but i do know that while grinding blood wolfs someone went through my rotation and picked up my potion piece there that's when i gave up

@@xBaph waiting is the name of the game, especially considering how non-essential mp pot is with spirit perfume for majority of classes. You gonna wait for so many things p/o, starting with garmoth heart, ending with costumes, that in the end doesn't matter.
@@mezmerya5130 You do realize people have to go out and grind this if people want to buy it off the marketplace. For some people using a perfume of courage instead of relying on spirit perfumes increases income at high end grind spots.

Sad part for me... Game won't let me exchange the rumbling earth shards or dragon scale fossils. Don't know what I'm doing wrong
Talk to Merindora and see if you can select the quest Odore's Spirit Essence and make sure you have all the pity pieces in your inventory.
Bro same here, I’m on console though so could be that. I was able to do the Dragon Scale exchange but not the Rumble Shard one.. very frustrating!

the manshaum is the most toxic part for me, there are times I do get 0 pities in an hour, most I got in an hour is 3.. im halfway at 55pcs

Your Life Skill Mastery no longer effects the drop rate for this but the Gathering Item Drop Rate from life skill tools is still applied.

Mastery does not effect the drop rate for the pity or raw drop at navarn.
But I agree confusing indeed. Game isn’t the best at giving clear information.
tshira took me around 25 hours. nowhere near your 9 hours. Some hours i got absolutly 0 pieces. 300% item drop rate.
yeah that sucks its def all rng. I got 2/3 full drops and 102 pitys at navern steppe in 9 hrs of grind
