I've read Act of Love, The Magic Wagon, and Deadman's Road. I enjoyed them all and when I read him again it will be God of The Razor and The Complete Drive In. I've also read a few of his short stories and I enjoyed them as well
Nope, haven't read Lansdale yet. Sometimes I like bizarro and I'll see The Drive-In on lists. Do you recommend this or does he have other weird fiction?
I absolutely recommend The Drive-In. Also, there is a new-ish anthology, titled The Drive-In: Multiplex, that has a bunch of great authors playing in the Drive-In sandbox. His short story collections usually have plenty of bizarre stuff. I mean, one of them is titled By Bizarre Hands. And, if you want straight horror, check out Nightrunners.
