- One of DCN’s most popular series is now a daily show! The new and expanded Washington Full Circle now offers viewers five times as many sights, sounds and stories all focused on what makes DC such an exciting place to live, work and play!
Whether it’s LIVE in the studio or out on the streets, show host Ferman Patterson and the Washington Full Circle team serve up the best of the city all in one setting. Also during the week, some of Washington’s most interesting people stop by the studio for a friendly chat -- from newsmakers and trendsetters to civic leaders and celebrities - to everything in between.
Plus, in one of the show’s regular features, the Washington Full Circle team offers viewers some great ideas about living for the weekend, as they share their own favorite places, spaces and things to do in Washington after the work week is over.
Wynton always has intelligent and thoughtful opinions. His views on race and music are well spoken and formed by experience and a deep understanding of humankind.
I admire and adore this brilliant jazz musician and intellect. I would like to see Mr. Marsalis and his Quintet do a tribute performance and CD for the Haitian-French virtuoso violinist, conductor, champion fencer, Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, born 1773.
Wonderful smart and thought provoking interview, even If you disagree. Love Wynton and the interviewer.
WynTon is the BEST!!!!!!!!
My favorite quote from the late Ralph Wiley “I know what I know and what I know is not enough”
Mr. Marsalis should come and check out Osceola County School for the Arts. Our school maintains our love for classic art as much as we can

I Think Wynton And Angela Was Vibing. There Was A Lot Of Romantic Energy Flowing Both Ways!
6:38 he nearly cried.
He talked about jazz composer wrote about jazz symphony orchestra. Composer job was very difficult technique and more difficult than performer's job, whatever is jazz music style or modern music style or classical music style or romantic music style or impressionism music style.
this lady needs to stop interrupting him!!!!
Sabin Catanas that the style of interviews now. The host doesn't listen. Wanna be Oprah's fake as a weave.
She's not phony she's just average.
Chris Curtis She’s extremely basic.
You could tell he was trying really hard to keep that conservative side bottled up, especially at the end when the subject was on women.
Composer job was stay up all night. So many composer of modern popular music style and rock music style including jazz band style composer were because of stay up all night reason to sudden death or suicide.
Composer job worked in film score for film entertainment company and Disney public entertainment company. As composer's stress from work very hard and very heavy, they are often stay up all night. So that their life time and life rhythm are irregular.
So many composer's irregular life and irregular time was because of reason with staying up all night to cause heart disease with sudden death.
Any time a host talks over a guest or interrupts them it's a sign of disrespect and it's ugly to see. It happened many times during this interview.
Music composition for writing jazz band style and modern music style and film score are not anyone can grasp it. Music composition need gift of Divergent Thinking (imagination for music creation). Don't misguiding music theory and musical harmony and musical form and orchestration can grasp music composition. These are basic theory and homework tasks of university.
She’s a horrible interviewer, stepping over him and interrupting him the whole interview😏
she's not a very good interviewer
