Development in baseball is just different. He is “an anomaly” yet he still has to develop for two or so years before the big league. Other sports players have immediate impact. Just interesting to point out the difference.

Why? He was really good from both sides of the plate this year and homered from both sides of the plate twice in the final month. Being a good switch-hitter gives the hitter a HUGE advantage.

I just don’t think he has MLB ability. I think the Yanks will try him at some point but eventually he’ll go the same way as Clint Frazier, Brien Taylor, etc…

@@clarkgimenez9576 nope. Been a Yankees fan since I was born in 1956. My first game was Yanks vs Twins I Minneapolis and I recall yogi hitting a game winning homer. I’ve had drinks with Billy Martin and had paintings of Maris and Mantle hang at Mickey Mantles Sports Bar and Restaurant in NYC. I’ve just seen too much hype on players across the league for too many years to believe what I’m told. I keep a level head and believe it when I see it. I hope the best for JD and the Yankees. I hope Volpe gets called up next year too I’d love to see both Perazza and Cabrera make the post season roster and stick with the team next year. Love to see Yanks resign Judge. Not a troll here. Just realistic until proof.
