My husband just recently died. I haven’t felt God or Jesus near me since it happened. It’s probably me who is shutting them out. Maybe they are near but I don’t feel them at all. I feel so alone , so abandoned. I’m sure it’s just me and not really God but I desperately need your prayers. This song (always loved it) has awakened a small portion of worship in my spirit that hasn’t been there since this happened. I just don’t know why God chose not to heal my husband. Please help me. I understand your pain my dear, as I also lost my darling sweetheart in 2016 after 43 year wonderful years with her. I never gave up as Jesus was with me all the way since I surrendered my soul to him and felt the power of his love when I was 29. I am now 69 and thank our Lord Jesus every day and I tell him how much I also love him. Our sweethearts are with us in spirit and we know that they are in good hands. Every breath I take is loving Jesus and this gives me strength to love most people around me, and with my children and grandchildren also makes me feel fantastic as they are a part of us and this is the gift Jesus has given us. So easy to reach out to him and all you need to say in your prayer is, please forgive me Jesus for my sins and I am YOURS. You will feel his love instantly and watch the miracles that you will come your way and always thank him as Jesus loves to be acknowledged since he has reached out to you when you surrendered to him. Our sad moments in life, Jesus helps us to recover. Remember Jesus died for our sins so we need to feel the pain he went through. Dear please LOVE JESUS with all your heart and always thank him. But after that generation grew up , generation X , and have become adults with family CCM declined. Unfortunately the millennials generation never picked it up because too many are secular and have left the Church.
