I miss kpop groups like this!!! They're so full of personality and carefree. It's moments like this that made me fall in love with kpop and it's artists, not just because their music is amazing.
Ima be real with you, SNSD was the first group I’ve ever stanned. Went to their shows and fansigns whenever they’d hit my city. So after I found out they were going on hiatus this huge wave of sadness crashed down on me and eventually fell out of kpop for a few knowing there will never be another group comparable to soshi’s team dynamics and chemistry. But guess what, that group does exist. it’s fromis_9. As an og sone, this one’s coming from the heart, fromis_9 is snsd’s 4th gen counterpart, of course not in sales or charts cos you have to be a legendary group too to be even included in the same sentence. but upon discovering fromis randomly, not even their music or mvs but their variety content, I was immediately reminded of soshi. that’s why I fell hard. Fromis reminds me so much of soshi that it gives me satisfaction. A group of all visuals, good discography, THE TEAM CHEMISTRY, the non stop roast sessions, member dynamics. Dare I say they’re the second coming of SNSD if we talking about all that. So if you’re a sone just like me who was sad when SNSD went on hiatus, you have to check out fromis. And no this ain’t cos their my bias group, it’s because of how each member’s personality would remind you of the soshi members. I just want all of you guys to know that fromis exists and that they will fill the void snsd left for sones. Trust me cos I’ve spoken to multiple fans saying the same exact thing that they became fans because they were reminded of snsd. sigh sorry this is too long lmao but basically SNSD and fromis_9 are the first and last groups I’ll ever stan and that you all should check out their variety content, just one video is all you need I promise. We're probably never gonna see groups as united as these girls are, the kpop industry is so saturated and so full of competition that even being part of the same group people try to be better than each other. SNSD has indeed turned into a family of their own, I can't get enough of these girls!
