I totally agree, it is so frustrating to see Anastacia, who has always delivered her best in live performances, tamed and forced into playback. On top of that, she's always said she is very uncomfortable doing it and hates it, and I think in the long term it could jeopardize her image and credibility, as she has always been very straightforward about it and has never even used autotune. I guess we'll just have to book her next concert as soon as it's on schedule!
Can someone please explain to me why nobody sings live in these German shows? Such a bummer all the promo is going on (obviously) there 😢.
I'm German and I don't understand that,too. All the time if I see shows were the singers are singing it's only Playback. On Tour it's live...
They simply don’t have the time and budget to set up the sound for every single artist in these big productions. Half playback could work but would also take a lot of time. Therefore most producers choose playback because it saves a lot of resources
Next year, they will be min. 2 shows less with Mr. Silver iron as all-rounder - cash problems at the public broadcast ... some

The promo has been almost exclusively in Germany and that territory has for some reason relies on playback
Sick and tired, too. Unfortunately, it's often required at many German events. Anastacia hates playback, doesn't even make use of any autotune. It's too bad, as she is the best at performing live. It's a terrible trade off for this promotion. I hope they're not gonna force her to do so for much longer.
She understood "Erotic"-Teacher in the first place...hahaha....i cant!!
