Ertai countered purphoros AND the opponent didn't draw any card, who is the fault here? The player that owns ertai should tell the opponent? it is similar when you use boseiju and player didnt search

Both are at fault, both need to pay more attention to the game state.
The draw is not optional like Boseiju.

@@atilalexander really? both? Counter target spell, activated ability, or triggered ability. Its controller draws a card. It's a forced draw.

I play Ertai and I always remind my opponent to draw a card as it is a forced draw. However on the case of Boseiju since it is an optional, I don’t usually remind my opponent.

@@user-ri5ik5po8g You could say the controller of the Ertai trigger has a bigger role to remind their opponent, but the information is public and both needs to be more careful.
Our level 2 judge at my local store always ruled this way, noted the error for later if needed but just issued a warning for both (bigger one for the controller of the effect).

What happens when the oracle text of city of traitors says "play" a land destroy it with the primeval titan trigger that said "put". What happened with the city is just sacrifice itself or not ? PD the Shared Animosity kill was just gorgeous !

playing a land refers to the once per turn action players have. putting a land into the battlefield from an effect is not considered playing a land

Plays Prison, Abrupt Decay destroys it, Plays Propaganda and I am like thinking: "Wow, would it be funny if Prossh player would play Eternal Witness to return the abrupt decay" and few seconds later behold :D I laughed so hard

Agreed the removal would've been a bit better on the spells that would ba actually threatening.
In the end it was a bad matchup for the tivit player
