Aloha! I love your collection! There are several places to get collectible pins. But the place that I have had a lot of luck is called Box Lunch, they are an affiliate with Hot Topic in the US and usually in ‘malls’. The pins aren’t official Disney pins, however I have found some of my favorite Disney pins there. So maybe when you are in Florida again if you see a Box Lunch store, check it out. Love this video!!!
I used to be a pin collector too. I rarely buy pins anymore. I only buy them when I go on trips at different attractions while I am travelling or from a show that I just saw like Mary Poppins

I think the internet can be a cruel place to open yourself up to and a hobby such as this I can imagine would invite some unwanted comments and it’s just nice to see you feel you’re in a safe space you know? The display looks fab and you’re right it’ll be a good conversation starter if you’re having people round ☺️ + all that extra room means you’ll just HAVE to buy more 😜 xx

I love Disney pins!!! I display them all on different 12inx12in boards on my wall. Each board has a different "theme" or character. It has grown so much over the years!! One of my newest favorite things to do is when I travel to Walt Disney World I bring a small bulletin board that holds about 10-15 pins and I use command velcro strips to hang it on the outside of my hotel room door with a sign that reads "Take A Pin, Leave A Pin. This is done on the honor system. We love mystery pin trading".. It adds a bit of mystery when we come back to our hotel room each evening to see who traded and what they had. 🥰
I used to collect badges when I was a child still have them all in an old metal quality street tin.. now as an adult I have progressed in to pins. Love how you store... given me good idea for mine .
Thanks for the link for your mums pin boards. Ive recently been going through more of my mums things who sadly passed away. I found all her pins she used to collect when I was a child, she would wear them on her coat and they hold so many wonderful memories of her for me so I will be buying one of your mums beautiful boards so I can display them all. 🥰

Hi Brogan. Loved this video. We went to Disney World in 2009 with our son who at the time of going was 9 and he has Autism. We did pin trading with him to try and get him to communicate with others. We came back with quite a few that all mean so much. We were due to go back for his 21st and lockdown hit and we are still waiting as he is still struggling with life. However when we do get to go it will be more magical and i can't wait for him to do more trading. It is all about memories.

I loved this video Brogan, it just made me feel cosy. My girls love pin trading at Disney. I have a nice story about pins at Disney. We went to a Starbucks in Celebration and my middle daughter Lottie left her lanyard with loads of pins in the toilet. By the time we got back to our hotel and realised it was missing we rang Starbucks and sadly someone had taken it. Lottie was absolutely distraught as she had been collecting them for a couple of years and had some special ones on there. Anyway the next day ( our last day ) we went into one of the Disney parks shops to buy her a new lanyard and a couple of starter pins to start her off. I was talking to the lady serving me at the till and telling her all about it and she was like oh no. She went off for a minute (presumably to speak to her manager), and came back and said to Lottie 'I have just been speaking to Mickey and he was so sad to hear about your pins so he wanted to gift you this lanyard and 2 pins and sprinkle some Disney magic on your day.' It was the sweetest gesture and made me cry. I had heard that the Disney cast members will try and sprinkle magic on you randomly and it was the first time it had properly happened to us. It's making me tear up writing this as Lottie was just so happy, such a lovely memory even 4 years later!
Me and my son Levi were just chatting about the pins he got in Disney and how we needed to display them. I love that I was able to google Brogan Tate Pinboard and this video came up😝 Definitely going to get these pin boards thanks

I display my pins exactly the same. I also pin photos to the boards too. Like one year I went to DLP during pirates and princess season so I have a photo, princess pins and the year pin on one board together. Xxxx

Brogan! I love love love pins. Other then my three daughters (15,13 and 10) I don’t know anyone that collects them or trades and we have so much fun doing it. How clever of you to think to keep the cardboards. I wish I had now. My 10 year old did keep hers though x
Just started this video, and my initial thought is you need one or two more board at the bottom, and then find some small circle LED pucks for the points in between and you can make your board look like Spaceship Earth. Also I would totally leave some space as you know you will be getting more pins in the future.

My husband and I collect magnets instead of pins - have over 50 displayed on a board in our kitchen of places we've been! We added our first official Disney one this year when we went on our Honeymoon to WDW in May!💕💕 Ashley xx

I have a fair few Disney pins, my daughter and I got a lanyard each when we were at WDW in 2019 (she was pixie dusted another one from a cast member after a wee sad moment) and then I got one on DCL. My weakness is Hard Rock Cafe pins...! I think I have more than 300 now, and need to find a good way to display them, these boards seem brilliant. My plan had been to use IKEA KASSEBY box frames as they have a lining to push the pins into and it's a magnetic door front, but they've stopped making them...!! So I like the look of your boards - what thickness are they, please?
Love this! Do be careful at the parks pin trading as there are a lot of fake pins that aren’t authentic that are on the pin boards and cast member lanyards. ❤

Keep an eye out in November for Children in Need pins. MacMillan do lovely Xmas ones and there's usually Comic Relief and Sports Relief ones x

Leave the gaps! Fill them in as you go. Better to fill the holes with ones you love rather than filling it with ones you don't.

I have a fair few Disney pins, my daughter and I got a lanyard each when we were at WDW in 2019 (she was pixie dusted another one from a cast member after a wee sad moment) and then I got one on DCL.
My weakness is Hard Rock Cafe pins...! I think I have more than 300 now, and need to find a good way to display them, these boards seem brilliant. My plan had been to use IKEA KASSEBY box frames as they have a lining to push the pins into and it's a magnetic door front, but they've stopped making them...!! So I like the look of your boards - what thickness are they, please?
Love this! Do be careful at the parks pin trading as there are a lot of fake pins that aren’t authentic that are on the pin boards and cast member lanyards. ❤

Do you store the back clips? I enjoyed this! Made me realise how many pins from all sorts of places, campaigns, even times in history I have scattered about on lanyards or jackets.
