You can make perfect crown stops for $10. Just slide the extension mounting bracket out 3/4” and attach a 6” piece of T-track between the saw and extension.
I would not want to cut a lot of 8in x 2in x 4.8m or 5.4m wet pressure treated on that flimsy extension, especially as it attaches directly to the saw casting
are you saying the saw is of poor design as well? because ive used every compound slider in the market and the kapex is by far the best i've used, I have the the bestfence system and it works great but it is very bulky and heavy. what I concerns me about this stand is that the slide out extensions don't look like they would support material very well if at all,If your working with 16' moldings do you have to use the clamp? also the bestfence flip stop is all around better but I could live
Thanks for the video ,I have to agree with others that for the price it should be a overall great stand I agree with you on the cart, I got one myself and I love it! and I made my own wings similar like yours on your other video but with a fence and Kreg's track with Imperial measurements keep them videos coming! sometimes you have to take the good from the bad.

Flimsy?? It’s 10x more stable then any rolling stand extensions.
Flip the extensions around backwards. Left on the right side Right on the left side and you now have crown stops!
If you measure in metric to start with there is no "working on it", though I would imagine you have worked that one out by now, 😉

with out the better flip stop for better mobility.
$2,200 for saw and stand and no crown stops. Very poor design. For that amount should be great not just okay. thanks for letting us know.
