That Country Road bar I've never been in but after seeing it here I will make a beeline to it. I love the older style bars ❤. Hopefully I'm coming back to BKK soon for my 50th in August 🙏. I was there last year for my 49th. Stayed at Adelphi Suites and Park Plaza hotels.
Fitzgeralds bar is great. Asahi Beer drafts always on point!
Just booked up. For two weeks in November,the best flight prices I have seen in a long time.
The flight prices are finally coming down a little. I suppose they couldn't stay that high forever! lol

It was great to see the street food vendor in front of the pharmacy across from Big Dogs is still there after covid. Wondered about them after seeing your vids through the years and them always being there.

Stayed at both Novotel and Ibis Styles, recommend both as great location and prices. Prefer Kick Off to Stumble Inn etc, just felt a better vibe in there. In February was having a fly afternoon 🍺 and one of the girls got me a bowl of soup and noodles from the street vendor right outside. 50TBH and sat there with my eyes bleeding with the chilli heat. So good!
I remember when the Novotel first opened. I was chatting with a business traveller in a nearby bar and he said it was better than the Marriott at a 3rd of the price. It's always astonishing to see how much chilli the locals add to their noodle soup! :)
@@bkk1126 for sure mate, the rooftop bar and pool are ace, rooms in Novotel more classy than Ibis, but the Ibis has that “urban chic” feel I like. Still, for the money, Novotel is great VFM. I’m back to Bangkok in December after a month in Pattaya, need Bangkok for a rest 555

What do walk along carrying a fridge or something...they certainly spot you early . BKK the original and the best...The best thing about visiting Bangkok is that you know Pattaya is next ..LOL..

Maybe carry on up to the top of soi4, it leads up to the entrance to Benjakuti park really spectacular place.

I went in 2016 and i will go in 2024 again. Where is Eq late night club? I remember, i went it in soi Nana..
EQ closed down a long time ago. A few Indian themed clubs opened in it's place but they were not popular...
i still swear the best wings i ever had was at the hooters on soi 2 nana
When they have their 1/2 price deal I sometimes get the chicken tenders at Hooters. Always spot on! :)
Had heard that Hooters was closing down one of their places in Thailand.
They closed the one on beach road in Pattaya
Hooters plans to open a new restaurant in Narathiwat Province. They want to tap into the Muslim market there.

I cant work out where all the traffic is going , it loops back onto sukhumvit via soi 6, nothing to stop a U turn on soi 4, 😢😢😢😢

Friends and I use to sit at big dogs with the mystery meat and chili pepper on a stick from the vendor 10ft away and people watch. We would play "will he or wont he" with the people across the street and who ever guessed wrong had to eat a handful of the green chilis from the stick.... lol
