Throughout the episode, ren was stealing glances at JR, looking like he was trying to check on JR to see if he's okay, because the other MCs were insisting that JR was a kkondae, like an authoritative and stubborn person, and JR seemed to be reflecting hard on himself. We all know that JR has been working very hard to be a good leader but he doesnt seem to be that confident of himself and he's always blaming himself. I guess baekren are more aware of that aspect of JR that's why they were trying to be careful.
