I never thought I would ever see Mario get so emotional at the end of Meta Runner Season 1. Remember when this guy didn't have a heart? Now he actually shows signs of caring for others. SMG4 knows how to make character redemption arcs while still keeping the fever dream imagery and crude humor that his channel is known for.

I don‘t really get that feeling with Tari though. However, Melony? I almost hate her. She gets waaay too much screen time, constantly abuses her plot armour and god powers and it sometimes feels like they excessively try to make her „cute“. I still like some parts of modern smg4, but, well, not everything. I have nothing against people who like it though. In short: Plot armour melon bad

Just got done thru the 2 seasons of Meta Runner and I am a bit saddened that this will be the final season. The season made me wheeze at some points and I love the comedic value it's got. As they say, all good things must come to an end 😔
