Spot on !! Fucking board is a hard charger. Shredded it at the on snow and couldn’t get off. Bought it off the rep🤟35 years of riding and maybe it just brought me home to what we used to ride !
How does this compare to the now-retired Stale Mod? Looks like it has a little less sidecut, and has obviously lost the twin rods at the front, but from your review it sounds like this might be snappier? I have been on the Stale Mods for the last few years and went to the Custom X when the Mod disappeared, because I don't have all the right 90s vintage clothes to go with the design of the Rene-gade (I was actually riding in the early 90s, so I should have kept my gear)
Damn, was looking forward to this as my do it all big mountain board, but after the mentioning about the lack of dampening Im not so sure anymore. Do you think the Cleavers will help with that issue, seeing as you rode it with the black labels or maybe they share the same base?
Hey Avran are we finally getting new Arbor reviews or did they drop the ball getting out product like you said they were supposed to late last season?? @angrysnowboarder
Unreal🤦♂️ Really been looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the current product line seeing it's been several years since the last Arbor reviews. Those dudes are slacking hard.👎 @@AngrySnowboarder

OHHHHH SHOOOOREEEE you already know we're hard charging the Rene-Gade with ya
I got to try this with cleaver bindings in January and I still can't stop thinking about how much I loved every second on this board!
Should probably buy it.

Thank you for a good review and for adding the size you rode, much-appreciated sir!
Lmaoooo “Not gonna end well for ya”
Would this board pair well with my clew bindings? my favorite pro johnathan buckhouse says clew bindings are the best.
You can pair it with anything you want, but if you follow false idols you will incur the wrath of Ullr and doom yourself to a sub par season.

Not as lively or snappy
Lorenzo llamas 😂😂😂 prime time Tv 📺
Would you say this is very alike the Burton Freethinker? Or even stiffer?
It’s a different ride all together
Compare this with Ravine Select, which one is more do it all/fun board? I can't decide which one to get🤔
Ones a high end stiffer twin and the other is a directional more powder focused board so...

I have no idea why you would want a twin high end park board for big mountain.
Oh, but isnt it a directional twin? @@AngrySnowboarder
Bobby Sixkiller would butter the shit out of this.

Evidently our Arbor order is still in transit somewhere.

At this point it's just became a giant joke where we keep mentioning it's in transit somewhere.
Does this feel anything like the 2017 Mod before they softened it up?
No.
Rumor has it two different pros (including the best in the biz) ride this board with a different top sheet.
Would you consider the Capita indoor survival 2023 a traditional camber?
For the most part yes.
Which is stiffer, this or stale mod?
Oh and how is the torsional flex? Can you ankle steer?
Lorenzo lamas….
This is stiffer, it takes a bit more effort to ankle steer it.
It’s a pity that Stale Mod is not in the line anymore.
@@AlexanderKontsevoy Rome’s website still has last years in stock in most sizes and on sale.
What size 153 or 156? I’m 5’10 and 150 pounds and size 9 boot

Thumbnail background image seems to be from Norway, with the Olympic figure from 94 still shaved into the forrest. Coinsidence or hidden message?
sure.

Don't forget to buy 5 for friends too!
How does this compare to the Freaker?
WAY stiffer, more camber, slower edge engagement but more power when you do finally engage it.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks! I had a Freaker last year that was a bit softer than what I wanted, so I may pick up a Renegade.
God Bless u
Cthulu bless you!
So what you’re saying is, You’re gonna have to take this board by the Reno Reins. Noted
Sir we only know Memphis Reins around here!
Which would be a better option for me 157w or 160w? I’m 6’0 190-200 pounds 11.5 boot. #clicktheaffilatelinks
57 for more playing around 60 for more all mountain versatility.
