Good job on sharing this info!!!! Got an unrelated question: you've shared before that you have anxiety and you've been diving for a long time. I had PTSD and I've been on anti depressant meds for about 2 yrs now. I have zero side effects from them, and should be getting off them soon. I'm a One Star CMAS, but haven't done any diving since I got on the meds . and can't find anything informative online regarding diving while on antidepressants. I'm planning on starting diving soon, but worried there could be side effects while diving due to meds. Do you have any info regarding this topic ? Keep up the good work :D

I would recommend you to reach out to a dive specialist doctor (the FFESSM has a list of those in France, in the US some army doctor are dive specialist) or reach out to DAN which is a dive insurance company but who also provide very good advice. I am not a doctor, so I might not know all of the danger of meds during dive, but the main issue is the fact that your blood pressure and composition of the gaz inside your body will change. Maybe your meds won’t impact it at all, maybe you’ll be able to go at 5m deep max... from my personal experience no divers has been allowed to dive on antidepressants and I actually refused to take some when I needed them to be able to keep diving. @@CrazyDivers Thanks for the reply and advise! I checked out the DAN website, and seems like my type of meds should be ok with diving. I did look up a dive specialist doctor, and they have a decompression chamber! So I'll be able to simulate being under water and document the effects. I think I'll document this experience and make a video of it! There is very little talk/info about this topic online!! Looking forward to more scuba videos :))
@@thegodpharaoh79 I'd love to watch that video! I feel like mental illness and disorders are still a bit taboo, especially in the diving comunity, we definitely need more of these stories out!
