Took 24 hours to listen after rewinding several parts. It was well worth the effort because this is a very good story. Thanks to all involved for sharing this story from Mr Koontz right on down the line. What wonderful times we live in.
I was enthralled with this story!! Dean is a master of dialog and taking you into the story! I was THERE!!! I stayed up all night listening .. Emily’s world was mine for the duration of the story. GREAT NARRATOR’S VOICE… LOVED THIS STORY!!
This is a great book! It has been a long time since a book has kept me on the edge of my seat. Many times I seriously considered to move to the end of the book. Just to see if David was okay. This book seriously played with my mind. I guess because I know that there are real Boogy Men in the world. They don't just exist under our beds anymore. They have somehow escaped from our dreams... That there are also more things that happen here between Heaven and Earth than we know of..... SMH.... I'll be thinking about this book for a long time. It is making me think I need to get going with my life and to stop thinking about it...
I wish his characters had more depth. They are the most beautiful, most kind, and have super powers that they only use for good, so the most moralistic- god forbid there be a dog in the mix
Might be a good book but I’ll never know due to the incredibly annoying loud sucking in of breath the narrator does every time he starts a new sentence.
Dean Koontz always sounds so moralistic but that doesn't stop him from describing the victims fates with graphic delight.

Absolutely loving this story so far. I am totally blind and love the representation of a character with a disability. Great writing.
Many sleepless nights listening to audio books

Thank you for uploading the book.
I never wanted a book to end so quickly so I would know what happened!!! 😳
A description in the description would be great 👍
📚 🆗️ Super storey teller exceptional narrators audio books are great
This was one of Dean Koontz's better stories - I dislike the real-life kidnapping/torture novels - a little supernatural is great!

I enjoy the narrator quite a bit but whoever edited the recording didn't edit out his inhalations between sentences.
McLeod Andrews, narrator.
