No wonder she said she was confused while filming...how could you act as a character on camera but also have the actually be that character rather than yourself for real concerts she’s TALENTED
this was a set up concert to use clips on the show. but Hannah had already become pretty big before this so most of the kids there were actual fans who really wanted to be there. if you watch the season 1 set up concert, you can tell the kids the kids were clapping cause they had to, since no one really knew about Hannah yet

It was shot at the Anaheim Convention Center. It was a short promotional concert that was advertised in the newspaper. The concert was free since it was only set up so that Disney had concert footage to use whenever Hannah had a tour. Same thing with season 3, which was shot at Walt Disney World in Anaheim as well. Also, fun fact: Miley sung live for both concerts, but Disney dubbed the studio vocals of it.
Also the season 1 concert was filmed at the Laemel theater in pasadena. They showed clips of the never before seen show to the kids in between costume changes.
