Money...assumably some, yes. But I really doubt there is a lot of resources put into sound. Might happen, that sound is done by external ressources. But I agree, that gameplay is lacking variety. But regarding this I can only speak for myself of course. As well I am much more a builder, than a warrior or defender. I like to see my city growing. It's grown now, so it get's boring to me... *sigh*

i am a grepolis player for nearly 3.5 years. i can say to you that i and many other players dont want this music. innogames still a lot of work and improvements to do in the game to prevent players to quit. improvements like introducing new units, new features or new gameplay ideas. THATs it what players want. WE dont want you to waste your time to compose music. WE want you to keep our servers running and bring fresh ideas into the game. thanks!

The game is clearly much more "lacking" for a fighter than a builder.
