I travel extensively in Europe, Asia, and South America, and most of my company colleagues that work and live in these regions can speak 3-4 languages, and I am quite happy about (and thankful for) their skills. It has caused me to work on my Spanish and German. I doubt I'll ever be fluent like they are, but I am working on it.
