I don't care how people make fun of how hearty and fatty this meal is, if i were to spend 6 hours a day doing heavy labor, this would be my go to meal. Much more energy efficient and fulfilling than the sugar saturated stuff people eat for breakfast everyday like cereal or poptarts

I live in germany, but me and my family are asians. And to confirm stereotypes we also had a chinese restaurant. Every Saturday we would eat breakfast which was essentially an english breakfast before my mom and cooks would do prep work for the next week. Always happy when saturday came around

In America, this kind of breakfast at home just costs $20 for 3-4 days a week. Most of the ingredients are frozen and canned food. And for a heavy meal like this, probably need more dessert to balance the fat. Consumes soft drink instead of tea.

It's sugar that's the real concern. Lots of fat free stuff is just replaced with sugar.

It's not that unhealthy when you eat it as breakfast, it's unhealthy as dinner

@@user-og6hl6lv7p Fat is a health concern too, especially saturated fats. That being said, sugar is an extremely underrated issue and generally the main concern for most people.

Has any body tried this? One of the problems I see is the Sausages may not be fully cooked, and when it does your Veg may be over cooked. So I think the order should be Butter, Sausages, Bacon, and then the rest.

Exactly! The sausages will take the longest so should go in first...

@@sebgold5841 Yes, generally speaking, traditional English Sausages takes 10 - 15 min to cook, cooking it too fast it will burnt, the casing is also quite delicate. I assume all of the above will be the same on a cast iron. May be I should join the world of UA-cam and start making Video :D

I know. Everyone who cooks would know sausages take the longest so they go in first, then it the veg and bacon eggs and beans last

I usually start by throwing the bacon on a dry pan and cooking everything else in the rendered bacon grease. You can plate any of the ingredients when they're done, no need to keep everything in the pan and hope for it all to be ready at the same time. Also, don't cook the eggs in the bean sauce, I find the results to be on the gross side (but I don't judge).
