  • First of all, I want to apologize in advance if there's any mistranslation in this video.
    I've tried my best.
Korean and English, both are not my native language. I'm still learning.
In the purpose of this video making, that's all just for me to easily understand the lyrics while singing along. And of course, I get no money from this. All of my videos on this channel got copyrighted.
Frankly, I've started to fall in love with Ha Hyunsang's vocal and his songs.
Same goes to the song covers he did on UA-cam, they're all really my type of favorite songs.
He has the same vibes that can make me get touched easily. I'm not really sure of these translations but this is how I understand the lyrics of this song.
As I can see "Burning Sunset" is when the sunset occurs, the color is like it's burning.
The Korean title "불꽃놀이" means "fireworks". If we combine these two versions of titles, I can say its like "playing with fireworks in the sunset"
English CC- The Romanized Hangul Lyrics
English (UK) CC- The subtitles of this one is actually the implied meaning of the lyrics, so it may be different from what I've made in the video. Tbh, Korean words somehow really have some different meanings. There's so many ways to translate it.
Imagining we're that one person with broken pieces and lots in mind.
It's where we go to somewhere far enjoying sunset and fireworks, which can be said as the prettiest things, the happiest moment. But in the end, we can't stay there all of the time, other days and nights will come, the fireworks will also finish eventually. Those pretty/good moments will never last forever. There are rise and fall in this life.
With all the problems we bring along the way, we want to end it all, we want to forget it all.
But we need to remember this one thing, responsibilities will always get on our back.
We can't run away. After it all, we need to keep survive.
    -------------------
My Interpretation of This Song :
It's somewhere under the pretty sunset when the sun looks like it's burning up. He's playing with the fireworks (I guess maybe with someone, with friends or anyone he loves)
He feels like he was being pushed away at the moment (to go back to the real life after done with enjoying the fireworks I think)
*I actually translated it the other way around- on the English (UK) CC
He burns the fireworks up and leaves after they're all finished. But at the same time, he wonders, will all of those beautiful moments just disappear without leaving anything behind?
He goes back as it's all already gone. Come back to the realization of this real world. This challenging world. But somehow, he feels like it's only the regrets remain (I need to study more tbh)
The yearning heart, the sorrowful heart after leaving those happy moments.. he wonders if he should leave it along the way. Leave it far-far away
He's asking, can't all of those happy short moment just disappear? cuz he wants the happy moments stay longer. He cried, he laughed- you know, that's how life's going.
At the last part, he questions about all that still left , where will he see it? I'm not sure about this one, I just guess that he wonders where will he get to see all that left? He wants to appreciate everything that still left with him.
    -DONE-
I actually imagining the fireworks as the burdens he faced in his life which that he can burns it up. There's the other translation I've made but it's too long and the description section only allows up to 5 000 words. I'll keep the regrets to myself cuz I just type all of those translation manually here and didn't save up any files with me.
This song really has the implied message/meaning. I can feel the picturing of the weight in one's heart. It has a quite deep meaning and actually really impactful to me. I have to been through some *** along, while doing all of these.
    New Edit:
I've been thinking quite hard and now I remember
I used to watch the videos from Blimey's channel. The episode when they invited Sarah Suhairi to spend the time with them in Korea. If I'm not mistaken, it's around the episode when Sarah and Blimey members was translating Sarah's song to Korean so that the people can understand her song better when she sing it there. I remember someone said that Korean song is full with implied meanings and they have to include some implied verses to the song

    To Ha Hyunsang:
Thank you dude. There's nothing more I can say, just thank you. I'm not good with words but I already got attracted with you. Keep the good works. Wishing you all the very best.
    To fellow viewers :
Thank you so much for watching. I just wanna say, you're actually stronger than what you think. You, such a precious soul. Please be strong. Always be strong no matter in what kind of circumstances. Please be strict to yourself too. Don't be too care-free. Don't avoid the responsibilities. A better future ahead. You can do it.
