Thank you very much for your great tutorial It will help me a lot to inform my families On the Web there are many tutorials for exchanges between Excel and Revit schedules, but very few on family information from Excel Again a big thank you
Excellent video! It helped me a lot, it is clearly explained and you gave me a great idea on how to integrate an index in future scripts , thank you very much.
HI. Very informative. i am a beginner in Dynamo. your explanation is too clear and great video. i have a excel data schedule want to import into Revit. could you upload a short video of that. pls.
thank you for your video, it was so useful, Please provide a video on how to create all the families of the building profile (steel) table and its parameters, thank you very much.
This is exactly what I was looking to do. The only thing, I have imported an .ifc in Revit and I can’t find the family type since they are all Direct Shapes (Step 3). I there any was I can get the list of the elements working with direct shapes or an alternative of family types?
Fantastic video. Thanks a lot. I have a question, for Fabrication ductwork is it possible to do the same script like what you did? does is number the ductwork in order like from 1 to 10 or like so?
Hi Stefan. You showed 5 values in excel and you have 5 elements in revit. But If we have 5 elements in revit, but 10 elements in excel . How we could match by mark for take its line value. "like a procv between sheets" How we could do that please?
nice video, can you do one to show how to change type parameter ' Coarse Scale Fill Color' to RGB 128 -128-128 for all walls with 'Basic' in Family name? thanks
Hello and thanks for this tuto.. though I can't make it run :( : when I link an "IntegerSlider" to the "ListGetItemAtIndex" Dynamo crashes ! I'd have loved to show you my script but we can't insert images :( If by any chance you have a moment... Thanks anyway
Hi Stefan. Do you know if it is possible, yet, to import (instance) data into groups? In housing projects we have to use groups, but in the past there has been limitations to data import from Excel to elements in groups.
if your problem was exploited groups I had the same problem some time ago, and then I figured out when you are creating the parameter where you choose between Type parameter and Instance parameter, under there you have to check the "Values can vary by group instance" I think only work with text type parameters, for me, was really helpful and I could use Dynamo to import data without break the group
QOTD: How do you create scripts that can send Excel data to Revit Parameters? Feel free to comment below.. :)
Thank you very much for your great tutorial

What if I have the same mark number on multiple instances of that family? How can I get it to run on lets say 10 doors with mark number "a"
