First time watching your content in 4K on the big screen. Tanks & Fish look spectacular 😎 Glad to hear all the FishRoom filtration is working well. From sumps, to cannisters, to hob, to air driven. They all serve their purpose & do well when set up & maintained properly. Nice work 👏
Ben, I sincerely love how mellow your channel/videos are. Putting a Ben video on in the morning with a cup of coffee is a great start to the day.
Mr. Ben, your channel is really therapeutic in some sense. I come home from work and watch your videos. Relaxes me quite a bit. 👌
It’s always good to see the variety of equipment that you engage in your systems. I have a similar thing going on. I’m sitting enjoying my aquariums right now. Very relaxing.
After seeing your videos I'm always inspired to do a water change, clean the glass, etc.
Always great to learn about different filters and different setups. Thanks, Ben!
I don’t know if you’re going to see this but Amazon sells those suction cups in different sizes and just looking at them in the pictures, it’s obvious which ones have the deeper pockets and suck on the glass much much better and work amazingly
Thank you- I have been thinking that internal filters are a great way to go. Enjoy seeing your beautiful fish every time!
Look at that boy! He would always hide when he was with me. Eell done, Mr. Ochart, sir. Clearly he feels more comfortable with you than he did with me. ❤
Don’t take it personally Whip. What’s drawing him out could be a lot of things, including spending time hungrily staring into the community tank next door🤣
@BenOchart LOL! All those delicious little fish almost within reach 🤣
But who are we kidding. Hrs clearly mocking me. I can see it in his eyes 🤣🤣🤣
Good morning Ben I have the older model of the sicce called the shark that one came with the best suction cups for mounting and it hangs on there and comes off easy for maintenance but they are hard to get on at first but well worth it
ALERT! Canister filters are fantastic but as is shown in this video , be sure to place them in a larger container. There will come a day when you have a leak. It might be small it might be catastrophic. It Will happen.. Water alarms are great to have as well. Ps nothing beats an FX6
When I get my 125 gallon tank I plan on putting a Marineland c530 it's the biggest one they make
I really can't believe how long these MarineLand filters run. They're like battleships.
I have the Marineland c220 in my 36 gallon bow front that is now my community tank and I have the 360 in my 55-gallon which is now the tank for my grandson's axolotls I had to switch them so I could separate the two axolotls because one is mailing one is female and cleaning out eggs is not a fun thing to do trust me
Hi Ben I really want to say what a great video this is, I am wondering if you can maybe give me a little bit more information on the expert magic filter and where you got it. I totally think it would help me out with my small gold fish tank. Thank You and have a wonderful weekend. 😊
There is no right way or wrong way to filter your tanks. I never had a sump filter, but I'm starting one soon with my new saltwater tank I'm building.
What do you think about the Marineland canister filters I have two of them I absolutely love them
Recently working on a recycle
Added a sponge to the back of my marineland penguin
And threw some bio I got from local fish store in a bag in front of the sponge
Bio wheel still spinning
And I threw some small bio in the k2 filter
The guys gave me some filter floss so just trying to figure out where to put that too 😂
Don't figure too long or the BB might die off. However, it sounds like your starting with a great foundation. Just be sure that any seeded media you add goes into water that has been treated. A common mistake is to add BB in a bottle, like FritzZyme 7, or seeded media from another tank, to a new tank without having treated the water. The chlorine and ammonia kills the BB, then the fish die off when they're added to a toxic tank.
Have you ever tried the Seachem Tidal HOB filters?
@@BenOchart I’m running four tidals, two 35’s and two 110’s and couldn’t be happier 😊
Aside from the filters what type of lights do you have on your 300 And 220
Please see in the description, there's info on all the lighting along with links.
Hello Ben 🐠🐟
Incredible insight, thank you Ben, no nonsense, a useful demonstration of real world application in the fish hobby. You've made this hobby not intimidating to so many, including me. Keep those videos coming. I'm a huge fan.
