Just retired out of the US Navy. I am both relieved and ashamed. Relieved that I'm no longer bound to endure insanity trainings on gender and diversity while being hated by the activist instructor for being a traditional, straight, white male. Ashamed that as I walk away, I'm walking away from a dumpster fire of a Navy I once served. God willing, they go back to God and country soon before it's too late. This Seabee is praying.
I left the Navy in 1988 after 13 years of service. (I had two teenaged boys at home at the time, and they needed their father to be there to help with their rearing.) At that time, there were no women on combat vessels on deployment. Women were not allowed to engage in combat in any of the services. If a practicing homosexual was identified, he was booted out of the Navy immediately. Now we have a man in dress running the Navy.
Not a single change that the Marxist left has pushed on the military has been intended to make the military stronger. Every one of them weakens our military, and it does it on purpose. The military is supposed to be the defender of our country. Weakening the country's defense on purpose is treason. It is also treason when our country uses our military to fight wars for other countries while completely ignoring the defense of our own borders. Everywhere you turn, you have glaring indications that this country has been hijacked by those who hate it. Worst of all, most Americans have no clue what happened in the 1960s when this hijacking took place. "Counterculture" was the name the perpetrators used to describe it, but what it really was was anti-American culture. And they won. Today, nearly all conservatives think many, if not most, of the changes that were forced upon Americans in the 1960s and thereafter were good and based upon American principles, principles that never existed prior to the hijacking.
I served on Diego Garcia for a year in 1975/76, and the island was two-thirds Seabees at that time. Zero women, other than USO shows. (They guarded those female visitors like gold at Fort Knox.) The military and the entire government complex are indeed a dumpster fire today, set by those who hate America and are determined to bring us down.

This is also the reason why that the recruitment for all six American Arm Forces are at an all time low with them (the military) even lowering certain standards (Weight etc…) just so that the military can make their quota in regards to recruitments. The Marines barely made it in the army, and Air Force didn’t make it at all and of course we all know that the Navy is attached to the Marines. you lower the standards of saying yes ma’am no ma’am, and you have children out here who are now grow that have lost their mother and father in the Afghanistan war with Michael P Murphy, and all of them. These kids are now grown and they’re seeing how their parents were treated who lost their lives and how they’re being treated and they’re not willing to join or serve in the military. And that’s could be another reason why the recruitments is at an all time low because the situation is like this and now to think the Russia had considered that a terrorist group honey, I have to grab my invisible pearls .

They typically don't, because the optics look bad to bleeding heart liberal normies, but it's not a violation of your rights if you get arrested for blocking roadways, you're violating others' right to move freely. You have the right to protest, but that doesn't mean anywhere, anytime, any way you want, there are laws about how and where and when you can protest.

I served 21 yrs in active duty and I'm absolutely appalled that this AF officer was allowed to blatantly promote DEI while in uniform. No military member should be promoting this ideology just like they can't promote religious or political ideas. He should be demoted or at the very least officially reprimanded.

I always found it ironic that the highest US award available for military bravery and gallantry - the Congressional Medal of Honor - was awarded by one of the most cowardly - if not THE most cowardly - organizations on the face of the earth: the US Congress.
for future reference it is called the Medal of Honor.
The standards to award the Medal of Honor have evolved over time, but the Medal has always stood for actions that go above and beyond. The current criteria were established in 1963 during the Vietnam War.
The Medal is authorized for any military service member who “distinguishes himself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty
While engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States;
While engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing foreign force; or
While serving with friendly foreign forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party."
All recommendations require thorough reports on the act itself, the battlefield and its setting; at least two sworn eyewitness statements; and any other compelling evidence that can be gathered. Recommendation packets must be approved all the way up the military command structure, ending with the United States President as the Commander-in-Chief.
By Federal Statute, recommendations for the Medal must be submitted within 3 years of the valorous act and the Medal must be presented within 5 years. Any submissions outside of this timeline require an Act of Congress to waive the time limits.
