    This is an awesome video. I respect both of these people so much, the disabled boy for going out there and wrestling and the other boy for letting the disabled boy win. Good stuff.

    If you seriously view this as "condescending" than you don't understand anything about class and character. This young man didn't lose so he could pat himself on the back, he did as a genuine act of kindness. And for me, seeing something like this inspires me to understand that in this world there are still genuinely good people out there who are willing to take a small action that can make a big difference.

    Greatest thing I've ever watched on youtube and in general...and it comes from the sport that I love!!! BOTH of those young men are winners for life!!! Class act kid...class act!!! You learned so much more in that loss that you have in any of your previous wins and in any of your future wins!!!

    You cant really go into the match thinking that your going to become victorious when they have such a condition. This is honestly the only right thing to do and the fact that the other competitor actually did this is warm-hearting. So he earns a smiley face :)

    Amen! So much respect towards this comment, unlike the other heartless, people. This is a great video and it says so much about this kid. I'm around the same age he is in this video, and I understand the concept of it, whereas they see this as to the kid not treating the disabled as an equal, but in this case it's not worth it to. Either way he would get hate from people who aren't as smart as him. Sad when younger kids are making better choices and are smarter than adults.

      Hi! I see that no one has answered yet, so I wanted to let you know the man in orange who picks him up is his Personal Care Attendant. I don't remember his name, though. I do know the young man he picked up is named Jared. I hope this helps.

      Patronizing if the disabled boy considers his pride but pride is an illusion like ego. Just a product of go. They put him on top of the world for 3 seconds

    Ok, at first i thought this was beutiful and touching and all that stuff. But think about it, what is the kid gonna do, pin him in 2 seconds and be boo'd at because he beat a handipcapped? No, but what is the peron that put him on the mat doing?!?! You don't throw a cripple on the mat and excpect him to win.

    Why is a make believe wrestling match inspiring? We don't even get to hear what the disabled boy has to say. There is no content here. It's an awkward photo-op. Thanks for the pity but it's not warranted.

  • @Explorer766
    @Explorer766 11 років тому

    I work with profoundly mentally and physically disabled people and don't understand the lesson here at all. Be disingenuine with disabled people to make them feel good? There is probably a wonderful story to tell here regarding how this boy is accepted and integrated by his peers at his school. This video byte doesn't tell that story at all in my opinion.
