🖤Gothic Junk Journal Cover Tutorial🖤

Welcome to another Junk Journal Cover Tutorial. 🖤
This time we utilise a book cover. It's going to be an awesome Gothic Junk Journal so I chose to cut out a coffin shape and use it as a window with two acetate sheets and a dried rose in-between. Now you may wonder if it will survive use and time.. I think it will but even if it gets very distressed and damaged I will still love what I will see. In fact my first thought was to put only the rose stem without the petals as Morticia Addams would do.. but I just love the dried rose pedals too much to leave them out.
(It reminds me of the enchanted rose from "beauty and the beast" which I love SO much as I can reflect.. it's my favourite story!)
It wasn't easy to cut through the thick book board and I had the sunlight directly in my eyes the whole time.. it was more of a "DON'T try this at home" kind of moment rather than a tutorial for me at the moment of creating 🤣🤣🤣 but I managed without ☠️!
Be careful needs a lot of patience.. better many small steady cuts than stubbing through with force.
