- Join us for a day at the most beautiful port of call, HALF MOON CAY! HMC is Carnival's private island, and it has the most beautiful, pristine, clear aqua waters I have ever seen.
For PART ONE, join us as we finally get to the island, explore our private cabana, go swimming, relax, and have the most amazing and relaxing time!!
Don't forget to watch PART TWO also for wild chickens and cats, the yummy island BBQ, exploring, more fun and relaxation, and riding the water shuttle back to the Elation!

My wife, my Mother inlaw and myself have been on probably 12 or 13 cruises. We went to Half Moon on the Elation as well. WORST CRUISE EVER for us. The staff at the port in Jacksonville were very nice and helpful when we were boarding. But the Captain and Crew never put out the "Stabilizers". So the ship rocked back and forth for the entire trip. We had calm seas the entire time so there should not have been any problem at all. But the ship rocked and rocked so much that when we got home we rocked while standing on our porch. I was still swaying back and forth for 4-5 days after we got home. We will NEVER get back on THAT ship. The staff at the terminal were NOT very nice to ANYONE when we were all getting off the ship. The port of Jacksonville sucks, but not nearly as much as the Elation. But I did like YOUR VIDEO.😎 If you were facing your cabana, we were probably 50 feet to the left and on the first row of chairs from the top when we were there.
over 20 cruises most if not all of the private islands my least favorite is Half moon cay my new favorite is MSC new island but i have not been there yet ha ha soon i hope

Judy Carroll I’m so sorry I missed your comment! For our vlog camera, we use an old Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX80. For our water camera, we use a GoPro Hero 7 Black. Thanks for watching the video!
@@fifthfabulous, thank you for letting me know. I just received my GoProHero 7 Black this past Friday. Your Half Moon Cay is the best I have seen. Did you use the GoPro exclusively for that vlog?
Judy Carroll wow what an excellent compliment! Thanks so much! We used both cameras for this vlog. The GoPro anytime we were in the water and sometimes in the beach. The blog camera for everything else. Hope that helps!
