Hello Bill, I'm glad to hear from you. I used The Xiem 3oz. (84mL) Precision Applicator and used gauges 18 & 16 I believe. I am in Canada and purchased in from PSH, here's a link: psh.ca/collections/pottery-applicators/products/xiem-precision-applicator-3oz Sorry, I do not have a video about the technique of slip trailing, but perhaps I will make it in the future! Hello Margaret, I try not to touch the pot with the tip of the trailer and rather hover over the surface, very close but not quite touching. However, it isn't always ideal, and sometimes I touch it accidentally! Feel it out and see how it goes, enjoy and let me know if you try it
