i'm pretty sure that, with the first track, the sound crew just made the backtrack too loud. you can hear her own rapping colliding with the backtrack so she's obviously not lipsyncing. it's just that the backtrack is drowning out her own voice.

She was rapping the second verse. She wasn't moving because gee it's hard to focus on rapping that fast AND moving around at the same time. I don't know if it's just me that's noticed, but she is nervous at the beginning of all her performances. It sounds like they have her music turned up but if she's actually going to rap, they quickly turn that down and her mic up.

I do sincerely believe the commercial music industry has been ruined by these kinds of artists who either control or are controlled by huge music labels that make really simple, repetitive music that appeals to the most profitable target audience there is (young teenagers). It's a shame, and it used to worry me, but after reading up on some statistics about the climate of the music industry now - it seems that for the most part, there are more and more independent musicians with more power these days than there was before.
More diversity, more power to the artists. It is a shame that they aren't seen in the spotlight though, but the commercial industry of any sort will always be the most obscene of the rest of it's kind.

And in addition to my last point, I don't see how artists are allowed to lip sync when that is their sole purpose for performing? (Of course aside from promotion and money, but that's their primary job?)
That'd be like commissioning a painter to create an original piece of artwork, only for them to photocopy one of their old works and sell it to you. Or hiring a photographer to take your portrait and them using one of your old photographs instead.
It's just insane - it should almost be illegal for artist's to do that, it's deceiving. Why even be a singer if you won't ever sing? Seems like they do it for money and fame - as certainly is my impression with Minaj and many other large scale shitty artist's like her.
