      Thank you so much. It was made some time ago. There is a different method in another video. See which works best for you.

    This Turned out so beautiful! I believe myself to be crafty I even have diy and craft videos on my channel but I’ve never made a wreath!! I’ve always wanted to. I just find them intimidating to make for some reason. I’m watching a bunch of videos trying to learn techniques. You make this look so easy. Thanks for the inspiration to try again. I’m gonna be at dollar tree first thing in the morning to get supplies. I love learning from talented creators like you!! I look forward to watching your other videos!

    Thank you for sharing your tips. I never thought to use raffia, as have only made fresh flower wreaths using wire. Love that it is all natural and compostable at the end of its life.

      I'm glad it was helpful. Yes the compostable aspect is a great. You can always just hang it up outside after a few months inside and let the birds safely take what they want.

      Thank you so much. There is another method I have done in a different video. It does require more flowers though in my opinion.

      Good suggestion, if you select the CC button at the bottom of the video you may may find they are transcribed. One day when I have time I will check they are spelt correctly too. In more recent videos I pay attention to the correct spelling of automatic transcriptions.

    Hi, wonderful wreath. Can you advise how you dry your flowers?

    • @CotswoldCountryFlowers
      @CotswoldCountryFlowers  3 роки тому +4

      I cut the flowers when they are not fully open as often they will continue opening and it needs to be on dry day and ideally in the early morning or evening. I make them up into small bunches say 5 stems and hang them upside down in a warm airy room. They usually take around a week to dry. Then I store in boxes until needed (otherwise they will fade). Quite a faff but worth it.

    So beautiful and ambiance of the room is also very relaxing. I do have one question I do not know this that natural flowers can be dried and stayed in their original colour.
    How long dried flower wreath will last ?
    Totally, new concept to me.
